A lot of games this year were I've question the substitution pattern.

It also seems like they are capping his minutes at 25. :-?
Minutes and shot attempts are capped.
Quin is keeping him conservative for now. I hope to see the kid receive more freedom. Cardio is catching up to some of the rookies.

We are so talent starved and he plays 23 minutes tonight. :noway:

Honestly, I don't understand it. I understand he thinks Vit adds a ballhandler, when Trae has the ball in his hand 90% of the time I don't see the point.

Even when Zac is off, he's playing pretty good defense.

Four straight games without turning over the ball.

The hard truth: Zacch's not yet ready for prime time.

There are flashes, for sure. But for a competitive team still looking to win as many games as possible -- having a timid, 19 year old who can't dependably knock down free throws or hit wide open threes...is just too much to overcome.

He'll get there sooner than later, though.

Wouldn’t have a problem with it if I could with upmost certainty say the people getting those closing mins were better. It’s not like we have many people knocking down open 3s consistently every night.

To quote another statement I saw earlier today.

I’m so glad that Quin constantly benches Zacch in the clutch, we can’t have a rook getting experience because it may mean we lose the game! Can you imagine if we let a rook close games, we might be 1-9 in our last ten games

Zacch has turned the ball over one time in his last seven games.

I'm concerned the newbs will cut into his production.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

It's a lost season for him if they continue to do that. Don't stunt his potential growth by playing guys who may not be here for the long haul. With JJ's constant injuries, he may be the next guy alongside Trae.

Players like Caris LeVert are fools gold anyways. Watch Quin allow him to average over 7 field goal attempts per game with us. The Cavs trash and we took him on and now he's going to play for an extention.

This is the model for Risacher, right here.

If Zacch can get to this level of production and efficiency while maintaining his defensive activity level -- he's the peak version of the most coveted archetype in the NBA.

To you, Trey might be the model. Some of us realize Zaccharie Risacher is going to be better at just about everything.
