That would be a hefty price to pay to move from last to top 3.

Why would you think the eagles would do that? You’re crazy!

That’s pretty much the only way the Eagles are getting Abdul Carter.

I don’t think any eagles fan realistically thinks they are getting Abdul Carter

Only way Abdul Carter is going to Philly is if your moving Jalen Carter or a team loves Mitchell or DeJean to make that swap (which a team moving a top 3 pick would be stupid to offer that)

Someone on one of those YouTube sports shows said AJ Brown to New England for #4 and James Pearce Jr was there at #32 I mean people need to stop this

I hope this doesn't actually happen(and I doubt the Jags would do it, thankfully), but is it true the Steelers are looking to trade for a male model posing as an NFL QB?:

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

It’s crazy, I remember when people were talking about Trevor Lawrence being the best QB prospect ever. 5 QBs taken in the top 15 that year, all of them suck.

Proof. You can be belichek. Tomlin. Even Andy Reid. Without a QB, you career and abilities can and will be questioned.

Can they even trade Lawrence? I am guessing there would be major dead cap hit since he just signed his contract.

Why not ask if you're the Steelers.

Trevor hasn't come close to living up to the hype, yet he did earn a huge extension.

Meanwhile, a weak QB class. Hell do what Mike Ditka once did, offer to trade all his picks for one of the top picks.

I don't think the Steelers' QB problems were lack of arm talent. It was more processing pre and post-snap. Is Trevor really going to help with that? He hasn't shown so far that he can process at elite levels.

Jags will ask for more than a 2005 1st and 2nd, assuming whoever replaced Baalke is half competent, not Nico Harrison who traded a prized cow for some beans.

However, I don't know that the Steelers are one Trevor Lawrence away from competing against Baltimore and Cincinnati, let alone becoming a legit Super Bowl contender.

Not sure how a trade would work.
A straight release would result in 133 million in dead money.

A trade would result in 100 million in dead money, so just a little more than Dak Prescott's 2025 cap hit.

Not sure what Dak has to do with this.

He has a $90 million cap hit for 2025. So just a little less than if the Jags traded Lawrence.

He has the highest cap hit of any NFL player in 2025. It's so high, it's almost the same amount as the dead cap if the Jags traded Lawrence.
