Highly ranked high schooler who goes to Arizona and becomes a role player. He averages a block and steal and is big time athlete with the makings of a set jump shot and is a smart passer. Reminds me of Shawn Marion - his film pops.
Raps value high character, high IQ team first guys. This guy learned sign language to communicate with his grand parents and do deaf b-ball camps.
Even if his numbers aren't noteworthy he is a guy who can develop in the system much like JaKobe who also had an up and down college career.

Yah I absolutely love Carter, he's made it up into my personal top 10 and I think there's a really good chance he's a lottery pick come June. I love the Shawn Marion shout, he also reminds me a lot of Trey Murphy for a more current comp.
His on-court play is what really pops, but I was surprised to find that he pops quite a bit statistically too. I thought being confined to the bench in Arizona would hamper his advanced stats, but he shines there too. This is every Freshman since '08 to put up a DBPM ≥ 5, and a OPBM ≥ 0, and their draft position that year (DnD for those who Did Not Declare after their freshman season):Anthony Davis [1st]
Nerlens Noel [6th]
Chet Holmgren [2nd]
Karl-Anthony Towns [1st]
Jaren Jackson Jr. [6th]
Dereck Lively [10th]
Joel Embiid [3rd]
Flory Bidunga
Cooper Flagg
Zion Williamson [1st]
Zach Collins [10th]
Marcus Smart [6th]
Tyler Tanner
Isaiah Jackson [22nd]
Myles Turner [11th]
Mo Bamba [6th]
Evan Mobley [3rd]
Carter Bryant
Tyreke Evans [4th]
Tamin Lipsey [DnD]
Aaron Craft [DnD]
Jordan Bell [DnD]
Mikal Bridges [DnD]
Jaxson Hayes [8th]
There's more 1st overall picks than guys taken outside of the Top 10 on this list, if Carter maintains his play I think he ends up in the Top 10.
Bidunga is also a guy to keep an eye on IMO, his play has been even more inconsistent than Bryant's but he's an absolutely defensive menace anytime he steps on the court, and if Kansas has a good run from now through March, I think he's a solid late lottery/top 20 guy.
Carter is definitely a highly appealing player when you realize his college FT% appears to be an anomaly. Do I wish he had a better than neutral ast:to and lower foul rate? Yes.
But he passes the eye test as much as anyone and is an absolute dunk machine and has real shooting touch. The defensive potential is very good and he plays a premium position, high character and nasty attitude at times.
Easily one of the top wings available.
