Yeah the shooting + durability is a concern, but he's only 25 and hasn't suffered any serious lower-body injuries (which is where the main risk lies for a player like him). IMO, he's right up there in terms of talent as Ant, and due to the risks you highlighted (which are 100% valid) he will probably be more attainable for us.

Ja is tricky because he plays an immensely physical paint game (reminiscent of Wade in that regard) but has a frail frame and those falls add up

Also, I'm not sure how well someone with a propensity for guns, alcohol, and strip clubs would do in Miami...

Doncic looks fat out there, he is definitely not in shape.. and he is off, even though he is still rebounding and has high assist numbers, he does not look comfortable, he doesnt seem to know how to be effective without the ball, and he is deferring to 50 year old lebron.

O well they have all of this year and next year to figure out how to fit.. but i wouldnt rule out doncic wanting to be a free agent one day to find a better fit for him

I know there are player fans, but as a player that would creep me out having grown men follow me around like that. Hell it creeped me out when I had females stalking me. I only played up to a college level. A lot of the stalker women were not cute. One was missing her entire front teeth, she didnt even have dentures. She found my roommate and got him to let her in sat on the couch waiting for me to come home. How do you stalk someone and dont even have the decency to bring your front teeth? I couldnt imagine all the weirdo stalker the NBA players have

I got questions bro...

1. Was your roommate an azzhole?
2. Did your roommate think she was cute?
3. Did your roommate think it would be a funny prank to pull on you?
4. Did she have any redeeming qualities (i.e., big teddies).
5. Did you hit, or at least get domed up?

Player fans are basically groupies, right? They may like music but they are just more into the hot performers. Nothing wrong with that, I guess. Especially if you are a teenage girl

Luka will be fine, he’s still working back from injury and yea his conditioning is probably bad because there isn’t much he could do while he was out on a bad calf. It’ll just take some time to work it out. Overall though, I don’t think the Lakers will be very good this year (they may make a big splash this summer) and we need to be hoping for it.

This notion that Luka is 100% staying in LA in 2026 just because the Lakers traded for him doesn’t add up unless he just completely loves the city and the organization and has been hiding that all these years.

Bam
Jovic
Jaquez
Picks

For Giannis

Ware
Giannis
Wiggins
Herro
Smith

The Bucks aren't keen on a package centered around Herro. Bam would be the key player in the trade. Keep Ware for Giannis' spacing. Given his comments about every Euro star belonging in a big market, I would not be surprised if he wants Miami.

Our offensively deficient team could really use scoring and play making like this. If Nolan Traore is on the board when we pick i could see us making that pick for the Hawks in a Trae Young deal. Young is going to be one of the more established players available in the offseason during draft time. We have the contracts to match up simply with just Rozier and Duncan.

Easy no for the Bucks. They won’t accept Herro while Dame is still on the roster.

Without Bam involved, it's non-negotiable. The Bucks would want our top player, essentially.

Then no Giannis. I don’t think Giannis would even want to play here without Bam.

Glad to see you’ve come along brother!!

He would fix our offense for sure and make life so much easier on that end for Bam Herro and Ware. Dudes playmaking is insane. I also think his efficiency would jump here and we’d see the best version of him.

For those who will chime in and say “Trae isn’t winning you a championship blow it all up and rebuild” Trae isn’t the final piece, just like Jimmy wasn’t the final piece, we will still need 1 more. Luckily Traes value won’t be too high and we’ll have assets going forward to actually land that final piece this time around

Also if Giannis goes somewhere other than Miami (which is probably likely if he even leaves) then keep an eye on Dame to Miami part 2. I personally think this stuff plays out this summer if the bucks underwhelm

Would rather the younger Trae Young over Dame. We need to stay away from anyone approaching 35 and over and that even includes Durant.

Considering the noise at the deadline it seems the most realistic. I think we actually spoke to the Hawks about it considering the smoke at the deadline. Ground work i feel like was made to pursue this offseason. We’ve been so horrible offensively and Trae solves a lot of those problems with his playmaking alone. He’s a dynamic PG no bones about it. Just have to be willing to trade some defense for offense but the offense and playmaking upgrade is immense. Mitchell would be the ideal backup to him.

Ware,Bam, and Wiggins should be more than sufficient to protect a backcourt of Herro and Young. Once upon a time i saw a backcourt of John Stockten and Jeff Hornacek survive. Wow i just aged myself lol

It really would be interesting to see whatTrae alone would do to the Heat. Guy has been consistently good for some time. Not only getting the ball out of Herro's hands more often, but putting that ball in the hands of a true blue chip play maker...Trae alone could change things. The size has always been the biggest draw back, but with Tyler out there...they can only score on one of them at a time :op

Loose even half the "Tyler dribbles the ball into traffic and it goes off his leg" or "Bam looses his position by turning from his spot to grab an errant pass" type plays and this team will score easier. Let alone all the desperation passes that are shotgunned out to the 3 point line and the poor shooter THAT WAS open, is now contested or off rhythm after having to use their full extension to round up the pass.

This team always looks sooo much better when we hit that 30-35 assist number, and I really think that is just a symptom of cleaner on time passes.

Trae would be light years more consistent (then anyone we have had in recent memory) getting the ball to people on time, when they flash open and keep them in the shooting rhythm not chase down as many off target passes.

Yeah sign me up to your newsletter...I just don't see a down side...does it really matter if Herro or Trae is picked on...I don't think much changes on defense from what we already see game in and game out.
