Seeing Knicks twitter come to the realization about KAT’s defense is refreshing.

No coach is doing better with KAT at center. The team is still pretty good, just a few roster tweaks and we are there.

That white bail out 3 was the nail in coffin would have gotten back back only down 4. Then they went onile. 10-0 run after that.

It was when Brunson sat, and you don't play Shamet (who was actually playable) instead use Cam cause why?

Shamet was pretty good in the first half....didn't get any minutes after that.....

Then tell me what the hell was KAT doing in the game after he clutched his knee?

ABC post game said Joe Mazulla team responded after a timeout lmao. No, the idiot took out Brunson knowing he doesn’t have a system to run and the offense was done for.

KAT has to be one of the worst defensive centers in the league. There’s no system fixing that, just having him play with a center capable of defense.

Our only positive. They were down 27. If Boston was super ruthless, they would blow it open to 50.

Good way to look at it. This is YEAR 1 of the new Knicks, this isn't the final product. You just got a new canvas and started painting folks, a lot of work still to be done.

That would be true if the Knicks had room to operate below the 2nd apron or flexibility with draft picks.

They have neither.

I said KAT defense is poor and no coach is fixing that, not sure what his knee has to do with that. He was a poor defender before the injury

Brunson eventually came in and threw the ball away a couple times missed a few shots and didn’t do anything anyway so I doubt it mattered

Only needed a 15-3 run to insure that didn't happen.

Leon Rose paid the largest premium ever for a pair of role players - a max contract for OG Anunoby and 5 first rd picks for Mikal Bridges. These moves were made specifically to match up against the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics have blown the Knicks out 3 times this season.

To be fair, the Celtics are impossible to guard when they are doing the moving pick thing and we are not good enough to overcome the bad whistle when we are attacking.

We go to the rim, we get bumped, hit, miss, they get the board, transition 3 - 5 point swing.

I called it loser coaching in the GT. When Thibs brought in the same group that ended the 3rd to start the 4th I knew we weren't gonna win.

He's just not a good proactive coach and he is absolutely horrendous at using his players strengths and putting them in the best position to be successful. Shamet I understand has his flaws but he was holding his own in the first half. He was playing solid D and had some big threes to keep us real and he gets zero burn in the 2nd half?

This is our 3rd game against the C's and he hasn't made a single adjustment on how to guard the three. They are putting up historical attempts beyond the arc and he comes in today switching KAT on Tatum possession after possession at the top of the key.

This team is winning 90% on pure talent and 10% on coaching. And the 10% is because Thibs pretty much gives free reign to his core starters and they play their ass off for him because of this.

This team has uber talent and crap coaching. We need a change on the sidelines, not on the court.

Towns was a -1 in a 13 point loss which was far and away highest +/- of the starters so maybe it’s not all his fault idk
