I’d have zero issues bringing him back. Still a young 22. Has a good skillset and could fit in.

That dude has the fight of a lady bug.

Yea he doesn’t play with fire but that’s what 2 way spots are for. Seeing if you can bring a long a young player with talent or a specific skillset. Put him and Jimmy together and if he can come out better for it great. If not, move on but I’d rather gamble on a player like that then someone who we know isn’t nor will be good enough.

What about CP3? Why shouldn't he be bought out now that SA is heading for the lottery? He knows the system and he'd be perfect to play 10-12 minutes off the bench.

God no. Kerr will probably want to close with him.

If they're determined to add a ball handler and it's between CP3 and Par Spencer? I'm taking CP3.

Looks like an interesting prospect still only 23. Basically a big G. Will be interesting to see how he does defensively. That will be the key to whether he sees any minutes.

I'm taking Pat Spencer.

Put down the pipe. I hate Chris Paul but I’d take him as a 45 year old over Pat Spencer.

Cp3 now is playing worse than when he was with warriors. His shot is off and seems slower.

first minutes give me a little Pete Maravich vibe.
kid is not afraid of bigger bodies.
think it's a good find for a player to develop.

Sam vecenie (american draft analyst that moved to australia) has pegged him as a big pg with great vision and defense that just now developed some mid-range touch to make defenses honor him on PnR. Would like to see him in Santa Cruz to see if the size and vision will translate, at least at that level.

The two 10-day contracts run out tomorrow. I look for them both to be renewed for another 10 days. After that they can be under 14 for another two weeks if they want before setting up their playoff roster.

This is all sort of minor in the grand scheme, but the things that intrigue me are what their plans for Yuri are (since another 10 day goes through the final day to sign a 2way), and if they need every day of both 10 day’s and the following 14 days for both spots in order to sign Knox/Spencer while staying under the hard cap.

If I was in charge (hey its realgm after all), I would:

- Give Knox another 10 day (with plan to sit the next 14 days until signing permanent deal)
- Give Yuri another 10 day (sorry Yuri, not in my plans for a 2way, but you have earned this extra 65k or so for being a team player, then its back to Santa Cruz)
- Sign Quincy Olivari to the final 2way (Yuri has more understanding of the system for remaining garbage minutes, but Quincy has a chance of being a 2way guy next year.. so lets lock him up for that role… plus if we need either for real minutes we are in trouble anyways)
- once the 14 days are up after the 10 day deals expire, sign Spencer and Knox to the last permanent spots.

To me thats the smart plan. Knox and Spencer can actually play NBA minutes in an emergency plus won’t be 2way guys next year. Rowe, Taran, and Quincy we get a head start on next years 2way plans.

I want Dennis smith jr as gp insurance. Get him to set screens for Steph and get him downhill to finish around the rim.

Given the March 1 deadline for a player to be waived and still be eligible for the postseason with any team that subsequently acquires the player, I'm surprised there haven't been more waived players this week. Maybe there won't be that many waived/bought out players this year.

I read somewhere the last day to sign a 2 way is March 5th. In that case, we should sign Spencer to a 10 day instead to free up his 2 way spot. We can then extend another 10 days or sign Spence the ROS.
