Re: 58: MN v OKC
Clark and Shannon helping us survive bad Ant first half. Need more from Jaden and Naz. Something I noticed about Jaden. He goes to the deceleration move too often. He beats guys off the dribble, slows down and they recover. He needs to work on that with his player development coach. Knowing when to slow down and when to speed up is the difference between tough shots and getting to the line. Not a complaint, just an observation and opportunity for growth.

Jaden starts the 2nd half with an excellent corner crash to tip the ball away from IHart and Reid finishes strong with the and 1. Last year Jaden does not make that crash and we don’t get that bucket.

Re: 58: MN v OKC
So once Ant gets suspended for 16 techs is he suspended 1 game for every tech after?
Edit: looked it up, it is one suspension for every 2. So Ant will miss 3-6 games this season on suspension (conservative estimate.)

Concussion evaluation seems likely. He was having his best career game and didn’t even get a whistle when IHart hit in the air.

Wolves just can't afford that many unforced turnovers in a short time against a team like the Thunder.

Disgusting one sided officiating just horrible.
If they called offensive marginal contact on SGA the way they called defensive he would foul out of every single game.
Clark leaves the game and Edwards dribbles it off his foot and takes a couple of awful contested step backs and bam 7 point lead is gone. Absolutely horrible putrid defensive effort from Edwards tonight.

Lets go without a PG for 6 minutes to end the third and let Anthony Edwards self destruct turning a 7 point lead into a 6 point deficit, and then play both our PGs together to start the 4th.
Make it make sense Finch.

Dilly playing SG because he cannot function at the PG most games. Mike minute limit with back to back.
Great job by NAW hitting 2 out of 3 from deep this quarter and getting us tied without Ant or Jaden. Clark was playing out of his mind tonight, that loss really hurt. Gonna need more from bench guys to make up for his absence. Any word on whether he has a concussion?

Ant is the king of losing winnable games. Some nights he does more good than harm, some nights more harm than good.

They want NAW to stay out of foul trouble as much as possible. If Clark can wear down SGA a bit with tough D it will help NAW both defend and defend without fouling.
I really believe Clark is the more effective player of the two. I want to see more TS Jr too.

Horrible turnover by Anthony Edwards. Good finish afterwards, but he threw big time with that unforced turnover.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
