Yup.. him playing and playing well (and the team winning) is about the only thing that can turn this season around.

he's had quite a few he just isn't that good, however we have nothing to lose so might as well see if he magically shows up

Mosley has lost me. How about just letting AB be the point guard instead of relying on Goga, WCJ, and JI relief valve playmaking?

I’m dumbfounded lol, this is the NBA for crying out loud it’s not the YMCA rec center league . It’s so far from the norm I don’t even know what to say or how to process this.

It's called promote AB or just let Cole have the spot with AB being first off the bench.

He likes saying "play by committee" I think to encourage that everyone has a chance, you just got to come to play. The problem is nobody except Paolo and Franz can make mistakes.

That's not a problem, everyone is held accountable.

I know people want coaches to bench stars as well but outside of Popovich or random times where that strategy is actually applicable, it's usually career suicide.

AB has had a backup PG role this whole season and he's been up and down.

either you missed my point or i am not good at saying it. Possibly both.

Nobody outside of Paolo + Franz has had a clearly defined role other then playing defense being their MO.

On offense, it seems to be whomever is the hot hand, and that has been more often then not, nobody.

ABs' role is to pass it to Franz or Paolo and run to the corner. Unless the game plan has changed, then that's what he'll do.

I think that was ABs point that he was trying to make in the interview. I need to see them run the offense through AB for an entire game. Their is no reason not to try new things now.

Yeah, that’s not an ideal response you want to hear from AB.

Dick is out.
Cole is questionable.
Mac is active (despite breaking his thumb on Sunday).

Downright embarrassing...nice try by AB to be gracious. I hate to say it, but Mosely is sinking fast...almost as embarrassing is the idea that "Suggs being out" has some effect on our ball handling.

Come on now...everyone should get a chance to play QB for a bit. :nonono:

I vaguely remember AB being immediately disappointed about being drafted by ORL, because "they had a PG" (Fultz? Suggs?)...turns out he was right...the whole team could be paralyzed and he won't get a full-on trial. I'm not saying HE deserves it...but what else is there to do? Just give him the ball...we're too far ahead to tank out of the play-in and we're too far behind to get out of the play-in...just give the kid the ball, look him in the eye and tell him, if he wants to be here next year, make something good happen...don't defer so much, play YOUR game. Paolo wants it, Paolo's mom wants it...do it!

Yeah what’s going to change all of a sudden? Team will burn 10-15 seconds off the clock waiting for Paolo or Franz to come get the ball from AB, then they’ll force a mid range shot.

I don't know how anyone can spin this positively for Mosley. Players and family are **** on him and there seems to be a disconnect between him and the front office.

sorry my main qualm is that FANS do not know what they want. last week, people complained about Paolo and Franz taking too many shots because it was like 75% of our offense and nobody else really got involved.

last game, reporters, fans and even paolo's mom chimed in about the usage of Cole/AB/WCJ etc compared to Paolo and Franz for that game.

Paolo chimed in saying just give it to the best players and let them make plays.

So there seems to be a bit of mixed messaging going on. Our stars want the ball in their hand but fans want other player more involved roles, coach wants players to be consistent in their roles or they will look at other options.

If the magic can finish the season 13-7 then we will be above .500 (42-40)

We don’t need to win now this season. It’s a chance for him to get minutes. Even if he is 90% bust. This is a time we can give him minutes.
