Who had the Pistons with a better record than the Clippers? DET favored by 4 1/2. Dog days indeed.

That's fully half of our projected top 8 playoff rotation. But a look around the NBA shows a LOT of absences everywhere. :dontknow:

These are the dog days.

If this were the playoffs, I imagine everyone except Powell would suit up and give it a go. But the 5th seed seems out of reach and going balls out just for a shot at the 6th seed would be stupid. And besides, all our "play the scrubs" crew are gonna get their wish tonight.

Have fun.

Milwaukee vs Dallas is the warmup game. Kai Jones vs Giannis and KPJ off the bench. Good stuff

Gotta see something from Jordan Miller tonight. Its put up or shut up for him. He's got to shoot that jumper and stop lally-gagging around.

Yah, that's the difference between Miller and Mann. We have the "little things" covered with Dunn and others. We need the big things. Put the rock in the damn hole.

Acc to ESPN site, Kai didn't even dress. Dallas is baked: Bucks shooting 63% and up by 19 at the half. KPJ is filling the scoresheet again 6/7/7, plus+13 in only 15 minutes.

ADD: Bucks by 29 in the 3rd. KPJ smelling a triple-double.

For a guy that gets passed around like a hot potato, Shroder is not bad. For sure a player we can use.

They’re fighting hard. 3rd quarter will tell us a lot about how the rest will go.

Bogi getting more comfortable. He needs to stay aggressive even when the injured guys return.

Oh my Harden!! Still got some hops.

Just when you give up on him yet again, Beard is the hero again.

And Bogi's 23/3/3, plus+17 is better than anything T-Mann put up all year [14/5/1, plus+4].

Mann is a much better defense player and overall athlete than Miller, but he is just isn't aggressive enough on offense

The once a week good shooting game from Harden hit big tonight. Bogi's best game as a Clippers. Two tough games coming up but thankfully not b2b.

Great victory. Harden had a flashback to 2018. They withstood Detroit's onslaught of 3s at the end too.

He didn't look ready tonight. But that's on Ty Lue, one of the worst coach for developing young players. When DJJ comes back Miller will be back warming the bench.

He might not have it though. He lost confidence in his jumper during his first stint with main team early in the season when Kawhi was out. Even now after securing the NBA contract, he's still bypassing the open jumper to foul hunt. Not sold on him at all as of right now. I actually thought Trentyn Flowers was next in line for a standard NBA deal over Miller. Also still trying to see Kobe put some highlights together. I think its wide open for him to take Batum's minutes if he really wanted it or could figure his game out. He was solid tonight.

Well … I think Lue and the Clippers did the right thing with Miller. Jordan Miller is trying to be a scorer. He has scored well and consistently in the G-League. I kinda go with the baseball analogy; if you’re a power hitter in the minor leagues, you’re likely to be a power hitter in the majors. You may lack in other areas or be not quite as good—but that’s your skill set and motivation. Miller averaged about a shot every two minutes in the G-League and about 23 ppg. Whether he can improve and develop his range is the question, imo. I don’t agree with the Miller lost confidence in his jumper idea. I just think his ceiling there is low. He was under 33% in college; he was under 31% in the G-League. What he’s done is develop his mid-range game and ability to draw fouls to make him a pretty high efficiency scorer—the DeMar DeRozan route. Whether he’s good enough at it or has extra skills to compliment that—we’ll see.

Beard just crushed last night. You don’t get as many games like that as you did. But every so often, Harden reminds you of just why he’s (still) an incredibly proficient offensive player.
