Jovic yes Jovic was such an immense crucial piece as the ball handling point forward and stretch 4 for this group.

Could tell this game was trending to fat L in the fourth. What an embarrassment.

Let's get to #8 odds and get a top 3 pick.

1.5 away from Hawks and tied with Magic.

Adebayo is a good player but he is far away from a 1st option. I think not even a 2d option.
He can score from inside but he has not the speed and ball handling to create and be a prime option in offense.

Wiggins and Herro are the best offensive players in this team.

Herro is talented and can score.
But he has tunel vision.
The only thing he has in his mind is to go for his shot.

Wiggins can create his shot, he has the speed and the skills and he makes good decisions.
He finds the open man when he is guarded.
But he is not so efficient so far with the Heat.

This is wild, Wiggins has been terrible. If anything he’s holding Herro and Bam back with his inefficient chucking, those reps need to be going to them.

He has not been a good fit with this group at all. I thought he was a better ball handler but it’s shaky. He’s a complimentary player but he’s not complimenting this group very well. We need our SF to essentially be a point forward but it’s something he’s not. It magnifies us not having a scoring and creative PG that much more. He was perfectly fine complimenting Curry and Klay.

He has been terrible, I’m ripping my hair out watching this dude chuck up heavily contested jumpers and leading the team in shot attempts every night. It’s sickening

I would really consider trading Herro or Bam to a contender. They are very good players, and I would at least try to move one of them to see what we could get in return. The roster as presently constructed isn't going anywhere. Maybe do a multi-team trade and try to get some FRPs from the Thunder.

We got two picks coming up in this draft so it is crucial we hit on both. We are not trading Bam. That move is not worth it. Herro on the other hand maybe but i don’t see a lot of teams really giving up much for him either. League and draft has a lot of players like Herro. Honestly if this team had two Herro’s would that be a terrible thing? Lol. The team is severely void of talent. We need a comparable guard to Herro when he gets subbed out. It would be nice to have a balanced scoring PF like Bridges when Bam checks in and out.

He''s not untouchable. He's a 3rd option who isn't all nba. He's a better version of Draymond Green. For the right team where you have a no 1 and no 2, he can be that connective 3rd guy to complete the puzzle.
You just don't trade him for anything. It's for a Gobert like package where you can get 3 to 4 really good 1st rounders and maybe a nice young player on a smaller contract.
If you go the rebuild route. Don't have ass it like the Jazz did. Committ to it and do it all the way. The Jazz kept Markannen when they should have moved him and were never quite bad enough to get those high lottery picks.
I'd move both Bam and Herro and try to get out picks back. And I'd move Wiggins as well.

Ware
Bam Johnson(Jovic when back)
Wiggins JJJ/HH
Duncan Larrson/Christopher
Herro Mitchell/Stevens

This is the rotation i would be looking to build chemistry with down the final stretch. Would not play Rozier a single minute from here on out.

I don’t think we’re giving up huge leads to the Hornets or Bulls because of a talent deficit tbh.

We’ve lost 9 games while leading by 15+, most in the league

Future teammates KD and Bam both hit a huge clutch 3 tonight and then missed the next possession. They’re already building chemistry

Is he projected top 3? Need to slide in that territory, and we have to keep losing. This season is already a washed.

No way the league helps us after the Dame incident and the Butler fiasco. That’s like rewarding the Mavs for trading Luka. Think 10+ range of a pick, and then we have to pay up two unprotected picks :banghead:

lol drafting Harper over Flagg would be hilarious.

Might not be a bad idea to go after a scoring PF next year and move Ware back to the bench and rekindle that dynamic early bench duo of Ware and Jovic

insfo wrote:Something seemed off about Ware's whole demeanor today. Anyone else feel that? Seemed to not have his motor on and almost seemed like he was sulking and moping around a lot. Wonder what goes on behind the scenes, but not a good game today. Hoping Spo doesn't bench him after this and start some journeyman like Anderson or Love. If we are not winning, we need to atleast be growing. And getting Ware as many minutes as he can handle should be the main goal at this point.

that almost steal that just bounced past him, and that Herro pass he made no effort to get was certainly noticed.

I don't know if was just a half second to slow and it was an off game, or if he is in his own head or what...but he also missed a few rebounds and got yo-yo ed on defense under the basket a few time too.

The shoes might still be too big for him? I don't know...but I got that sense he was thinking " I can't do everything if you guys can't stop endlessly inside penetration.

Others probably see more then I do, or understand what they see better then I do...but I have a hard time passing firm judgments on Ware's short comings in possessions the entire team is falling apart.

Yeah my gut reaction was Ware is in his own head too....but damn...so much is wrong right now, clearly we have expectations that our parts are much better then the product we are getting right now....it is hard for me to point a finger and say "this guy, or that guy is the problem."

Even Herro taking terrible shots should have an asterisk next to it, lord knows we got guys that will waste the clock and ALSO jack up a crap shot. Tyler taking bad shots mostly open is not the worst thing that could happen.

We need a more versatile scoring PF next to Bam that can take guys off the dribble like a Miles Bridges. Ware can’t do that. He could still be an elite backup to Bam and play in intervals with him.
