Maybe if it was Brandon Miller. We have enough small guards.

Fair enough. I can see that.

I’d be open to listening if it’s Sharpe and a swap of your pick. We’d throw in Gradey Dick/Ochai of your choice

That’s not going to work for POR. We need to upgrade lead guard which is not really SS game.

If the Spurs want Henderson for the lower of their picks I would do that for the Raptors, otherwise I'd want Clingan thrown in. The front office is good at drafting and some high floor prospects could be valuable for our expensive roster. Fears and Maluach are within that range and would add a lot to the Raptors.

Poeltl / Maluach
Barnes / Mogbo
Ingram / Agbaji / Battle
Barrett / Dick / Walter
IQ / Shead / Fears

Or:

Poeltl / Clingan
Barnes / Mogbo
Ingram / Agbaji / Battle
Barrett / Dick / Walter
IQ / Shead / Fears

There aren't any superstar level picks in there but they could be solid roleplayers early on and break the glass ceiling like Siakam did.

Clingan is not a throw in.

Scoot is a bust. He's never living up to 2nd pick hype. Other than Sharpe and Clingan Portland doesn't have much to offer for a top 3 pick. Maybe another 1st next year and Toronto gambles on Portland not making the jump.

If it's between Bailey or VJ and Clingan / late lotto prospect. I would probably go for Bailey or Edgecombe.

Lol, you shoot down all of our (mostly ludicrous) trade proposals, and now you're in here peddling your wares?

Last year we were at Dick's Sporting Goods and my son points out a shoe and says "that's Scoot Henderson's shoe", to which my obvious response was "What did you say? Who?" because I did not believe for a second that any company would spend the time or money on designing a shoe for such a scrub. I still can't believe it lol.

Just checking to see interest. Did not seem as though TOR had a long term pg. Can’t blame any team that doesn’t want Scoot.

That’s not going to work for POR. We need to upgrade lead guard which is not really SS game.

Random, but how would you feel if Cha offered Lamelo for Scoot, Grant and 10 (or wherever y’all land this year)?

LaMelos health is pretty scary but I would do it.

Throw in? Your pick of any player that's not Flagg or Harper? haha, all season we have been fearing choosing 10th and Scoot? Oooh, that's tempting!

Our pick of any non-potential franchise player, for only 3 lotto picks.

Pass.

Clingan plus assets is the only reason the Raptors would ever consider trading the 3rd overall pick of the 2025 draft. Don't be daft it's unbecoming.

Trading the 3rd overall pick for Clingan???? Unless those "plus assets" equates to Sharpe and Scoot, I'M GOOOOOOOOOD!

Seems to me you be spinning no nothing unlikely hypothetical's in the first place. Raptors pick #3. JRoy wants the pick. Make a real deal or I say be gone!

I think Scoot, #10 and Clingan is too much, you think it is too little and that is the end of it.

Scoot is not a player Toronto would want.

edit: we're talking about a #3 pick in a good draft.
