Siding with upper management over the worker? Say it ain't so. First there was Corporate Cena now there's Corporate Melo.
I’m siding with the chill boss over the lazy complaining worker
Only boss I respect is the Worl boss.

Oh damn. I missed that.
We have a liar or.... thibs is senile which is excusable cause he is old as hell. Either way this is a bad look.
It's not a lie necessarily
Mikal may have talked to Thibs
Thibs may have heard him but Thibs may not have made it a back-and-forth conversation
Yeah I guess thibs can be mister semantics about it saying a conversation is different but having a player air this sht out and then have thibs deny a conversationa and say it's bullcht is not a good look on both sides.

you better double down and layer up on your Depends because that chit is not going to fly here

That's what I mean. Thibs is definitely the type of guy that would play semantics. Him mentioning that Brunson and KAT are below top 20 in minutes is him trying to deflect from Josh, Mikal, and OG being so high in minutes.
In a way, it makes Thibs looks worse.
He takes care of his top scorers in Brunson and KAT, but is leaving his wings to play the most minutes, do all the dirty work, and get far less touches offensively.
Both OG and Mikal probably wish they were getting enough touches consistently to average 20+ ppg, but they are only getting enough touches to get 17 ppg.
It might not matter how much you can pay OG and MIkal. They don't want to be relegated to taking turns being the 4th option while having to play the most minutes in the league.

Bridges softer than my stools!

I agree, and ultimately I think mikal is airing this out cause it's impacting his bag. Which I don't blame him ar all.
I'm really curious how this plays out. Is thibs going to cave and reduce his mins. Id be curious if it would just blow over if we started winning. How is jHart and Brunson going to react to this. Things are going to get a lil awkward.

Props to mikal for saying what everyone with a brain has been saying since November.

Do you think they have told Mikal that he's not worth a max extension? If Mikal knew he was getting one from the Knicks, then he would keep quiet.
UNLESS, Mikal doesn't want to extend at all and wants to test the market.
But now with MIkal's numbers being where they are because of Thibs and the system, Mikal might feel his value has been diminished to that of a $20-$30 million a year player instead of a $40+ million a year player like OG.
