I know that the Pistons have earned a lot of rope with the fanbase and have beat the hell out of teams they're supposed to beat but you can't lose that game, that's an unacceptable loss against a decrepit team at home. Hopefully a learning experience to not take any team for granted.

Disappointing, but the Wizards have 15 wins despite being underdogs in every game they play in.
So it happens. It was us this time. Absolutely frustrating but not unexpected especially to a team like ours that still has a lot to work out.
This is probably how it felt to lose to us last year.

Imagine being the team that broke our 28 game streak.Snakebites wrote:Disappointing, but the Wizards have 15 wins despite being underdogs in every game they play in.

Overall I think it's important to just sorta self-regulate and not get too high or too low. We tend to throw around terms like "must win" and "unacceptable", but it's all hyperbolic. You have ups & downs. Some are more disappointing than others, but at the end of the day we aren't measuring our success or progress based on any individual game (at this point in the season). It's really about trends. Do we believe this is a trend or a blip? If it's a trend that's concerning. If it's a blip then you grimace, make the correction and move on. *shrug* NEXT!

I'd luv to get Dillon Brooks or PJWashington on this team lol. Really go for it with the whole BadBoys 2.0 version

Pistons could've used a second scorer last night. I don't know if Ivey is the answer. Frankly, I hope the Pistons pursue a certified power forward who can get 15-18 points a night - someone taller and more youthful than Tobias. Washington wanted to win that game more and it showed.

Cade getting to the line 21 times is as good as a win for me. The refs finally give him a decent whistle fo ronce.

They outshot us from three by a significant amount. That's a recipe for any one team beating another.
I think it's OK that we're not quite in the point in our development where we're ready to step up to homecourt advantage level playoff team. I'm happy with the step we've taken overall this season and so long as we can at least hold on to the sixth seed, it's all gravy right now, imo.
