This is the most boring draft I can remember in awhile. It's all OL / DL dudes after the first 5 picks.
Praying for Burrow

That's second and third most important positions in football. Not sexy but many teams can retool well this year.

True - I like flash though in the draft

It's not a great draft compared to last year's. Not a ton of blue-chip caliber guys available. But if you need trench help than it's not bad. Good year for lineman.

I just don’t have much interest tbh. This could be a situation where the second and third rounds are far more interesting than round 1. Especially with the rb’s.
Seems like cam ward is basically a lock at #1.
I wish BJJ was here I want to hear his thoughts

I got shadeur #1. Cam Ward #2. And that's coming from an ol pac12 guy. I have watched both of these guys and have seen up close and personal what they can do. And I would give the edge to shadeur over cam

This QB class is ****. Which drags down the class as a whole. But there are some real intriguing prospects.
Hunter & Carter will likely be the first two guys off the board. Assuming a team like the Giants doesn't move up to take Ward. Which is a strong possibility.
Everyone is familiar with Ashton Jeanty by now. But it's a loaded RB class. So many names with varying skillsets.
Tyler Warren might also be a better version of Brock Bowers. Unicorn type of player.
Jihaad Campbell, I think is one of the better linebacker prospects to come out in a while.
A guy like Jalon Walker is also intriguing. An off-ball LB that also can rush the passer. I think he can be better utilized at the pro level than in college. Is he the next Parsons? Probably not. But he does have a unique skillset.

Carter is a guy that I think could fall due to his injury. Pretty much all of the top teams are rumored to be trying to trade down. The Giants are rumored to be enamored with Shedeur so there’s a chance they trade up to 1 to draft him. I also think the Browns are going to end up selecting Cam Ward. They are moving on from Watson and even though they will be losing Myles Garrett I think QB is a bigger need for them.
I also think Jaxson Dart will be taken in the top 10 by some team. Every year we see a top prospect fall and a we see a mid-QB climb. This year I believe those players will be Carter and Dart.

1. Dart is not that type of Prospect. He's not a top 10 talent. Teams don't view him in that way. It's not happening.
2. Ward is the consensus top guy among scouts & teams. Not Shedeur.
3. Carter is not falling out of the top 5. The injury is not career threatening. He's too good of prospect for teams to pass up.

I think you’re spot on when evaluating the talent in this draft. I think you’re a bit off though in how teams will actually draft. None of the QB’s in the draft are really 1st round talents. Talent wise I would say Ward and Shedeur are closer to mid round picks (2nd to 3rd round) than they are top 5 talents.
We see teams reach every year though, especially for QB’s. Jaxson Dart is similar to Carson Wentz in the sense that he was looked at as a 2nd-3rd round pick before the Combine and elevates to a top 10 pick based on his workout.
So again, I agree with what you’re saying where their talent is. I just disagree with where they’ll be drafted because GM’s make dumb decision every draft.

Tyler Shough is getting a lot of traction...McShay is really high on him.

Re: 2025 Draft thread
There's apparently some chatter that Sheddur would bring a lot of drama given his attitude and maybe Deion being like Lavar Ball.
Sheddur is suppose to be real good between the hashes with some talent but he's not the off-platform, off-schedule prospect that Mahomes was.
So he has to produce from within the pocket, make smart throws.
More of a game manager than a playmaker.

Teams that really like a QB prospect do this every year. If you REALLY want to draft a QB young that you might not really have a shot at you leak rumors of him having issues. Oldest trick in the book.

Re: 2025 Draft thread
I think the Titans are nuts if they don't take Cam Ward with their first pick.

I think he is the perfect pick for the Titans. And yes, Ward is the #1 QB on MY board. And the ONLY one worth drafting in this year's class.
