I don't think second apron teams do S&Ts in either direction. :(

Don't worry, Wyc already hinted at Cs going under the 2nd apron.

2nd apron teams can’t acquire a player in a S&T, but I don’t see anywhere that it says they can’t send out a player in a S&T.

Sam Hauser post all-star break is shooting 45% from deep. He was 40% before the break but just on an absolute tear since then with a slight tick up in volume as well. He's obviously been dealing with back issues all year long, if he's finally getting right and turning a corner just in time for the playoffs that's HUGE. He's been solid all year long but looked slightly off. Seems like he's hitting his stride just in time.

Pritchard has seen an improvement in his efficiency as well at 44% vs 41% from deep. With those two firing away at that level it's going to be really hard to beat us, especially Sam because he's so solid on the other-end you're not going to see him played off the court defensively.

Luke sadly might be playing his way out of Boston. I can see multiple teams giving him relatively big money for his high floor and consistency. Great locker room guy, he's going to have a wide range of suitors from teams competing to teams just trying to build a good foundation. Happy for him, sad for us.

Baylor showing some nice development. Still a ways a way from being a regular contributor but nice to see some of the parts of his game falling in place nicely. Pleased with his ability to see the floor and distribute the ball, would be a really nice facet to his game if he can do that from the wing effectively. Very happy we managed to get Torrey Craig as vet wing insurance on the cheap, would like to give Baylor a shot to try earn enough confidence from Joe to steal some of that role off the bench, but really pleased with how we're positioned on the wing with both of them in the fold.

Our position in terms of home court advantage is pretty much completely solidified at this stage. Hoping Joe manages minutes heavily down the stretch to make sure we've got fresh legs and let the kids take advantage of the final few games to try to make their mark heading into the off-season. I want to see a lot of Baylor, Walsh and Queta in particular.

If we, the Cavs and OKC get a 60 game season, it'd be crazy, I cannot remember a season where there are 3 60 game winning teams... Wonder when's the last time it happened?
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

I think, we'd need like 3-4 wins to completely solidify it, but it's fairly stable now, we're 6 or games ahead for the #3 overall, which I'd prefer for them to take.

Second apron teams can't do a sign and trade in either direction, unless it's an outgoing S&T that gets you under the 2nd apron. 7th bullet point in the right hand column.

2009 with Celtics, Lakers, and Cavs. 2006 before that -- Mavs, Pistons, Spurs.

Loving how Joe is starting to have trust and give quality minutes to Baylor S, even if the Rookie didn't have a great offensive game.

Kornet was great and provides fun energy off the bench as usual

Getting so sick of the refs treating Tatum with contempt, not giving him the respect he deserves.

Portland have been much improved since the All Star break and this was a decent win with 3 starters out.

5 wins in a row and getting some real momentum and better production from our bench/rotation players. I am satisfied (bar the Tatum treatment by the refs)

This is shameful for the NBA
Shai, Brunson, Doncic, Lebron even scrubs like Reaves etc get calls that JT does not
Refs are screwing him a lot as he is the most hacked and harassed player in the league

Damn, I thought it would've been longer. That's still very impressive tho.
Before the Cs winning 60+ last year, it seemed like in the regular season fewer teams tried hard and between 56-59 wins could help you win East/West or even be #1 overall.

IMO you can't bitch your way out of a bad whistle -- need an attitude and behavioral adjustment
(I know Luka is just as bad in this respect, and I don't like Luka)

The refs have crapped on JT all season. I have to agree with him being fed up.

Something like the Grant Williams deal. The salaried player went to a third team.

Doncic act worse and gets the calls
JT is screwed every game
I watch a lot of games. When I say he is the most hacked and harassed player in the league I know what I say
He is constantly covered full court with two hands on his body (this is what we see - as some who played a little, this is no gentle touch). He is constantly being pushed. When he penetrates, if he doesn't dunk, he gets hacked
I don't say you should call all of these, but man, call some of these instead of berating him

Also, he is the only star that get these silly technicals for speaking or clapping his hand. All the stars do it. But JT gets screwed the most

So did Joe deliberately give Pritchard a start in front of his historical home crowd?

Looks like it. He could've gone double big with Kornet or even started Craig (who's already started for us IINM). He proceeded to commit 3 fouls in first five minutes so he said he will just stick to coming off the bench.
