If any of you have T-Mobile and the app where you get free stuff on Tuesdays, today's giveaway is a year's subscription to MLB.TV.

Also people sell the codes for gift cards on reddit if anyone is interested. I've been doing it for years now.

Is Opening Day losing its luster a bit? Felt like it used to be a hot/expensive ticket, but doesn’t seem like it’s the guaranteed sellout and not quite the same buzz it once was. But I’m not in the MKE area either and haven’t attended one in 10-15 years.

It's definitely losing it's luster. They have ticket packages if 6, 12 and 24 games and they used to market those as "each package includes opening day, it's the only way to guarantee your ticket". They don't market it that way anymore, opening day tix are no longer tough to get. And there was a surcharge for parking for opening day this year

Experienced the new parking system. You don't stop and pay, you drive right in. You're directed to a spot same as before. I had prepaid for parking. You bring up the parking ticket on the app, click on "activate parking", enter your plate number and you're done. But clicking activate parking brought up a dead link. Tried it a few times. They have several people in the lot with question mark flags to help with issues. She had to do some override to get it to work. She said they had problems on opening day that they attributed to too much traffic on the server. But that certainly wasn't the case tonight with a small crowd.

If you don't prepay they have big bar codes posted all over that you scan, enter your plate and pay. I don't know if that was working properly or not.

Once you're activated your car parking spot displays in the app.

Do they enforce it? I saw cars with non payment tickets on the windshield after the game.

If they get it working correctly it's a good system that will save time.

Definitely losing some luster.... i dont think i missed an opening day from age 18-35. But since then, I drink less, i hate the cold and Mark A is cheap, so I haven't attended in about 5 years. The cold is the main culprit. I remember the last time i went it was like 30 degress and wind gusts where we couldn't even tailgate.

I think the product on the field is much better with the pitch clock and faster pace. But the same crew i've gone with just all meet by a friends house near the stadium and he has an outdoor pub/garage that we just do all the festivities of opening day there.

I used it once or twice late last season and liked it. I usually pre-purchase and yeah just opened the app via QR code, plugged in license plate and was set. Actually with pre-pay, it may have been right in the app. Been a few months, haha.

I also just learned that they have an EZ-In/EZ-Out lot. Its the Gantner Lot and heard its small so can’t tailgate and only like 125-150 spots but guess its quick in and out. That is appealing to me. I see the lot on their parking map but didn’t see it for sale. So unsure if its a STH only thing or what. Someone on a ticket marketplace was talking about it.

I haven't heard if the EZ in lots. I usually buy preferred and go on weeknights so it's easy out anyway.

Same. If its a mid-sized to light crowd usually can get out of the preferred lots pretty well. If its a well attended game it can get a little dicey if get caught in a rough lane.

I could see the appeal of the EZ lot on a big weekend crowd game and if don’t want to tailgate. Unsure if they charge alot more for it too. It is the Gantner Lot.

Attended a game in Cincinnati last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by their baseball vibe. It kind of further confirmed my desire to get like bars/businesses near AmFam. Cincy has “The Banks” development in between their 2 stadiums and there are various restaurants, green space, apartments/condos, and bars in the area/next to the stadium. There is no tailgating which I know is a huge appeal here. But I also feel like there is way more than enough parking to keep the tailgate crowd happy and develop something else too. I certainly get that there is risk on non game days that that area may not be a destination spot. But just having some other options around the stadium would be nice. Right now I feel my options is hang in parking lot or go inside but pay stadium prices. I actually like the Barrel Yard thing and there is the outdoor space outside Lf, but going to be paying $12-16 a beer.

Agreed. The Brewers have fought giving up any parking but I'm sure there can be some space carved out. The parking lots aren't full most of the time. I think if you put some good options in they could draw on non game days. Central location, right off the freeway and lots of parking.

Nothing new really. I had read an article on this year's new food options but they were nothing to get excited about. The food trucks are just new concession stands that look like food trucks. Some of that food could be good but I didn't try any. This was a game where I had eaten beforehand and just brought in some peanuts. I never eat them any other time, too much of a mess. But peanuts and cold beer while watching baseball is great.

The place still looks great 25 years in. They've done a great job keeping it up.

Crew attendance at 26,162 average so far in 2025 ranking 16th in the league and well below the norm. Usually starts slow in April/May though and will pick up as school lets out/weather warms. Past 3 years we’ve ended in the 30,500-31,500 range.

In the last decade the peak was 35-36K in 2018-2019 years. Best stretch was 2007-2012 where averaged 35-38K/game.

The low point (non Covid years) was 2016 with 28,575/game. Worst run of attendance was 2002-2004 where it was 20-25K/game. This was a tough era, especially 02-03.

Anybody have an opinion on the difference, if any, for watching games via Amazon vs FanDuel? Have a friend asking. I know I have heard alot of negative about the FanDuel (bally’s) app in previous seasons.

I watch through DirecTV Stream so can’t offer a good opinion. I have zero issues, but DirecTV is most expensive option.

I have the FD app and my friend has it through Amazon and it appears to be the same. I watch FD via Roku on my TV. I watch FD directly from their app on my Ipad. Both have worked perfectly for me (knock on wood). I've had it since i ditched cable a few months ago.

I've had endless problems with FD. I went though Prime this season and have had no issues.
