I just made a script to fetch all the Sweet 16 colleges guys.

The top guys appear to be:

I'd say it is a borderline fit of a deep enough pool for a draft. Might be fine for a low number of participants draft.

Notice I've put up two sheets:
- the main one - "college_players" - lists the colleges by order, while the players are sorted by career WS within each college
- the second one - "college_players_all_sorted_by_ws" - has players from all colleges sorted by career WS (top two are Barkley from Auburn and Hakeem from Houston)

If you want to send a list for your first couple picks, we can make that work. You would be the 8th. Ideally we start before Wednesday but no worries if you'd rather hold off

Yes exactly, just a straight forward sweet 16 pool with no exceptions. That seemed to be the consensus

At this point even if the game started this instant the clock wouldn’t start until tomorrow sometime.

Just made a big board (of sorts), and I think the main differentiator is going to be 1) what time frame we are using aka how far back are we going and 2) who gets chosen for big minutes from potentially the 60s-80s and how we each evaluate them. I just don't know enough about a lot of those guys but I know many will be taken. Going to be a tough one to judge I think. For example, the #3 guy in career WS from this pool is Dan Issel, and I know exactly zero about his game. Same goes for #17 Cliff Hagan. I will definitely be avoiding those players in my own selections, but I suspect someone who might be better informed might be able to form a juggernaut using those sorts of players. Granted their team would still then be evaluated by the rest of us, but still.

I know I personally would prefer 1990 to now or something along those lines, featuring more guys like Zach Randolph and Carlos Boozer, for example.

Based on my big board there is definitely enough guys to do 1990 to now.
