This team has been rebuilding since 2011 and it's been a **** failure. The two or three years we "competed!" were **** fake and during fake ass corona rules. Nope. None of that matters.

This entire organization and the fan base have a losers mentality. It started with years of losing on purpose and deconstructing the rosters with intention. It became an addiction. A fetish. Some of us warned about this. Most did not heed the warning.

And which players do you want on those 14 roster spots?

No reason probably ineptitude most likely :D

At this point it might be Gillespie's camp considering greener pastures...

It's cheaper to wait to 'sign him for the rest of the season' if we wait until the final game.

Then just tack on options after that.

Officially can no longer finish above 500.
Win out and we finish at 500.
Most likely, we finish closer to 10 games under.
What a season

Booker has just not really seen as many of these single coverage games this season because back when we had the Valley boys you had to guard 1-5 so teams were much less reluctant to double Book in the mid range or surrender a wide open 3 which everyone besides Ayton was very good at.

Now though teams are much more willing to make the Suns shooters besides KD and Book beat them from 3 and since our supporting cast are generally much worse at shooting and at everything else really it's not a secret why we can't win anymore. Could we become a winning team if we massively upgraded our roster? I believe we could but there is no realistic way for us to stack our roster anymore due to our lack of picks and financial inflexibility I really think our only chance to field a winning team again is to just trade KD and Booker and start over.

The 2nd apron did it's job to deny teams with deep pockets from being able to outspend the rest of the league. Bravo Adam silver.

In exciting news, it appears OKC will finish with the best record in the NBA. Giving the Suns the 29th pick instead of the 30th :)

How sad is it really that Philadelphia can find a pathway to get out from under Paul George, but our front office can figure out anything with our situation.

If they're actually able to trade off of George, and this front office can't manage huge improvements this summer, then everyone in the front office should be fired! And the entire team (or at least 90% of the roster) should be traded elsewhere.

It’s not the GM, it’s the s***t owner that makes the decisions for the Suns. The GM didn’t want to give up everything and the farm to trade for KD, it was Ishbia that overruled him on it.

Exactly right. And I think the Durant trade was an overpay. But Ishbia's biggest mistake was not truly understanding the new CBA. He just thought money could solve the issues. Well sure, that was fine with Lacob and the Warriors when they still had access to the TPMLE and could combine players. The new CBA came after the Durant trade and before the Beal trade - if I remember the timeline - and not understanding that, has been the downfall. As the Beal trade should never have happened

Granted, the Durant trade with all those picks, pick swaps and Bridges, also NEVER should have happened

Of course Booker wants KD to stay
they both can make $120m and be happy about living in PV
winning - oh sure, that would be nice too

I think JJ has a burner account here. No way any Suns fan could want him to come back... right?

I just think Jones needs to go as I think there needs to be major changes

Granted, will Ishbia allow the new GM the patience and time to get the job done

TBH Ryan Dunn isn't someone you build around. He shouldn't even be a starter. We need to keep

Booker, Dunn, Allen, Oneale , and OSO

Get rid of KD and Beal. Go from there.

Do KD for FVV and Jabari Smith JR and our first back
Do Beal for Herro and Rozier

Sign Marcus Smart in offseason

Run

FVV, Smart
Booker, Rozier
Herro, Allen Oneale
Jabari Smith Jr , Dunn
Richards, OSO

How many draft picks are you giving to Miami to take Herro and Rozier for Beal?

I am pretty sure that he wanted to write Duncan Robinson and Rozier.

Fair enough but again, both of those players expire next summer, 2026 - wouldn't Riley want the cap space over Beal
Now if the Suns trade both Durant and Booker, and have an extra draft pick floating around and Beal would accept the trade and the Heat would take Beal, I think the Suns would do it -- but my guess, Riley would want the $45m of cap space over a late FRP

Because we would rather carry D Lee on the roster all year instead of having useful players to play in situations on this team.
