Why is Walter Clayton projected to go in the 2nd round?

Because he's 22 lol the nba drools over young unproven talent. That's why it's always 18 year old thar are lottery picks. The proven college players go late first

Flagg is pretty fool proof, 100% all-nba prospect. Injury is the only thing that can screw him

Jalen Johnson with Gordan Hayward’s offense.

Maluach being the same player he’s been all year. Let’s use a top 7 pick on him!

Being 7’3 and not getting a rebound in an entire final four game is disqualifying. I don’t know what else to tell you.

That's sweet Sixers music. Flagg or Kon, welcome to Philadelphia.

Read on Twitter

KK since 3/7

11.8 BPM 133 ORTG 1.9 A:TO 53.4 FTr 73%(!) at the rim

17.2/4.3/3.6 on 60/45/91

He isn't McNeeley or Kasparas level bad defensively but he would need a Duke like situation to insulate him on that end. Still another player I draft ahead of "Ace" Bailey.

Time to have a conversation about LJ Cryer as a top 5 pick

Not sure what point you’re trying to make. Mine is that, yes, he’ll probably get drafted in the top 7 and I’m hoping we’re not holding the bag since his best trait is being 7’3 despite not playing like he’s that size.

It’s lucky that Maluach had a bad game. If he had kept up his NCAA tournament form (averaged 11-8 with 2 blocks per game and 81FG% prior to the game vs Hou) and impressed in private workouts with NBA teams, specially with his shooting upside. Then there’s a good chance that the 18 year old wouldn’t be available at our pick on draft day.

If so, we'll be a lottery team next year anyway, and can draft one of the plethora of ~6'9" forwards, or Dash Daniels (Dyson's young brother)

This is how I've felt all along. Yeah, getting the pick would be the optimum, but losing it gets OKC out of our pocket and we aren't competing next season regardless, so it would be a year to clean the slate again, but this time hopefully with a sane plan in place.

His age, period. Kid is a stone killer, and is going to be a solid rotation piece somewhere at a minimum.

More so than one the one bad game, it’s the absence of steals and assists to Maluach’s game that completely turns me off. Shows a total lack of feel necessary to being a star C in the NBA, which is what you’re banking on when drafting in the top 8. I can’t imagine any all star C being that deficit in those two areas coming into the league, however I haven’t checked.
