Jokic comes from a small city in Serbia, and his NBA role model was Tim Duncan, so unlike many others, he doesn't care about "big market"/"big city" factor, and has literally zero ego (which actually can be a problem for sports superstars). Given that he's already checked off every major accolade, I think there is no possible way he turns down a potential 400m+ final contract from Denver to finish his career there. Yeah I'd be surprised. Jokic seems to have a healthy separation between work and personal life. Relocating for greener pastures would be huge for a person like him. Probably forgets his problems when he thinks about his next horse race. Didn't even want to go to his own championship parade.

Wow, I'm in the overwhelming minority. If I were Jokic, I'd stay in Denver, one team, whole career unless something crazy happens and you have a complete management/ownership turnover.

He gets the same 35% max whether he stays in Denver or another team. He will just not get the 5th year or 8% rises with a different team.
Though on a bigger market team he'd make a ton more on marketing. LeBron makes more from endorsements than salary for example.
