They aren’t overachieving this season.
They overachieved last year and the year before that.
They have severely underperformed this year. You can count more than a handful of losses due to Thibs poor defensive and offensive schemes, awful substitution patterns and lack of creativity drawing up plays. He has lost this team, as they are not responding to him anymore. The old MO of past Thibs teams was that they were going to play hard from start to finish. This year’s squad is just lacking in every way possible. The players look disinterested, they lack focus, and they aren’t ready prepared. The lack or preparedness falls directly on him.
