Yeah I was confident all week. Then I clicked on the game thread and saw our starting lineup. Knew it was over then.

What comeback????Lol

From 28-12?
How can it be a comeback if you don't win? ;) Pacers were on cruise control. 12 28. Still a loss no matter what. Get the next one.

With Dame coming back we have a chance to win the series, probably we won't but even if we do this team is not good.

Nah, that was one of Bobby's worst games. He doesn't miss that many wide open shots in a game and then give little effort on defense and boards. That almost felt like he had a fix on this game.

Are you saying ball movement = bad? Lack of it is why we lose.

No Kuzma, less Prince, play brook when Turner is off the court. That still might not be enough because the pacers are a good team and we’re missing too much scoring/shot creation, but we’re 100% losing if we don’t implement some version of those simple things.

This board convinced me to drop a bag on the series ML and this is how you all react after 1 game? SMH.

Was catching up on things and saw this. Dame coming back might give us a boost but not sure anything matters if we can’t find lineups that can get stop’s consistently.

You're trying to ask for Jevon Carter back, just say it. We saw TJ, we saw Atlanta.

Just watched the Doc presser. He won't say it but I will. Pass the ball, Giannis.

It was indeed just 1 game, and technically the Bucks could still win this in 5 games.

Just giving a little **** back to the people who give me ****.

For the record I have no problem with anyone giving me ****, mocking my opinions and hitting me with snarky comments. If I had problem with that, I would have been driven off this board years ago.

But I do think turnabout should be fair play.

It’s the idea that we can pass our way out of bad lineups. Absolving him of bad strategical rotations.

If the Pacers aren't bringing help on Giannis when the starters are out there, ball movement isn't doing anything. The possessions Giannis was moving/off ball you ended up with TP trying to attack Hali (a Doc favorite) or Rollins dribbling to nothing. Giannis was killing single coverage in the 1st half which he should do.

Giannis was more offball and moving it with KPJ/Green/Trent out there. Offense looked better despite missing many open 3s. The looks they missed were a lot better and from better shooters.

The starting group is dead in the water. Giannis is the only dude who can create with that group and the only good shooter (TP) needs like 5 feet of space b/c he has to be completely stationary with time to shoot effectively.

Doc Rivers chalking up Kuzma having a bad game to Kuzma not getting the ball enough is peak Doc Rivers.

i think theres some overzealous mentality here about kpj.

hes really fun, and young, and yeah he should play a little more but the idea hes this huge joker card we refuse to use is kinda a reach if you really step back from the ledge.

It's not that KPJ is *that* good (or Trent/Green for that matter) it's that Kuz and Prince are that bad. The difference makes a difference.

Even funnier that Doc is slow brained since those first 3 are better fits with Giannis and better matchups against Indy.

i do agree we probably need to ride kpj like a stallion in a "lets play the guy we got for marjon as a last desperate attempt kinda way"....in order to win the series.

personally im kind of looking at the bigger picture here. we suck. we literally suck compared to previous standards. were a seriously mediocre team and viewing ourselves in anyway as a championship contender when were not even a paper tiger that can coast 50 wins....its bonkers
to even get that invested

so on that level its hard for me to get very beat up about rotations

i am excited to maybe have a deeper longer look at him in future seasons as a fun guy to watch and grow. we need 3-4 dudes like that if we recognize reality and do what really needs to be done here

I genuinely want Pat back into the rotation. So much of the playoffs is figuring out who's reliable, leaning on them, culling those who aren't. Gotta shorten your rotations. I don't think Pat's ever laid an egg in the playoffs & came into this one on a heater.

So far you have Giannis, GTJ, KPJ, Green, Lillard, then Pat. That's 6, 1 big. Then the other bigs you just play situationally or hot hands, & you can throw Prince & Kuz into that pot. Giannis & the smalls/shooters is the base you build around. Pick 1 big at a given time to play w/ them.
