I do think OG Anunoby is the toughest defensive matchup- specifically for Cade- in the league. Not even saying this to gas up OG. More pointing it out because any time Cade does something good out there, he deserves exttra credit lol.

Knicks have found holes in Pistons' defense.

The only reason this game was even close was Pistons hitting 55% from 3 through 3 quarters and it was still a single digit game. If you want to believe that they are capable of doing that every game then sure its going to be a long season. I cant see them being that consistent from behind the arc unless Beasley is shooting every one of them.

This was the game I feared the Pistons could have and give the Knicks a loss. High 3 pt percentage, 11 off. rebounds leading to 21 points and winning the free throw battle. Knicks still won by double digits.

Pistons have a great future and some nice foundational pieces, looking forward to them being competitive in the next few years

No, the reason it was close is that NY focused on Cade and dared the role players to beat them. Which they (particularly Tobias and Beas) did… until everything fell apart.

Didn't you just describe the same thing? We dared your role players to beat us and they shot the lights out...for the 2nd time in 5 games against us...until they didn't.

You’re missing the nuance… the shooters are open because of this. NBA players making open shots is not some non-repeatable occurrence.
