I think the Knicks plan this series is to give the Pistons a false sense of confidence.

Detroit was a good team in the 2nd half of the season. I'm not claiming they're a superstar club for they are not but their play for months now has been closer to a team that wins 50 games.

Yep. This is going to be a great series. Detroit is young but they still are a good team with feisty players. I do give New York the advantage but this will be a close series. Detroit won't go down easy.

Yeah it is fun to watch a young team actually develop. Too many of them get stuck in tanking or just collapse due to ineptitude of players or front office.

Problem with Pistons is they have one gear. Knicks are turning it up a bit. Pistons don't know how to match it. This is what happened game 1, and we're seeing that again.

They just lost their poise late in Game 1 which is expected of a young team. This second half will tell us a lot of their growth and maturity— will we see an ending like G1 or will they have learned from it already.

Watching Cunningham’s play in the 1st half… i predict it’s the latter

That's what I'm watching for. Knicks picked up their intensity at end of the half. Pistons didn't match it. Or else it's game 1 again.

The Knicks aren't as good as the 2010 Lakers and the Pistons aren't as good as the 2010 Thunder but the series reminds me of 2010 LA vs OKC. The younger team is on the ascent and better than people realize.
