I should blame myself as a fan too. I keep watching because I somehow am hoping that Thibs will miraculously make changes, get his players prepared, and draw up the game plans necessary to max out this team’s talent.

Even though this team has repeatedly made the same
mistakes all season. It’s insanity to expect different.

KAT is very capable of getting 3s when his juices are flowing. He gets his juices flowing when he’s able to mix it up and see a few go in from inside. But his interior game got shut down and because he wasn’t in any type of flow he wasn’t even looking to really shoot.

Couple of his post ups were stoned by Tobis freakin' Harris. There was no offensive flow to get his juices going. I just don't get how he can't pick and pop like KP but then I look at how light his screens are to begin with.

I mean it's a couple plays, hart was fouled on that layup, ridges or Brunson hit a 3 and the garden explodes and they prob win....nba series are tough, very rarely you get an easy one, just win the next game which I expect they will

Yes he should have been more assertive but there’s no reason you don’t run more looks for him to put him in different actions that would open the floor up for the team or for him to get better looks.

We ran a very nonsensical offense tonight, even with a poor whistle all game being as stagnant as they were was inexcusable in that 2nd half, made for an easy gameplan defensively for DET

What plays? Pistons focused on stopping him by sending double teams on him quickly. The rest of the team shot 10-35 from 3. If we shot better as a team it might have opened up more opportunities for KAT. There were times where he had 3 defenders on him the second he out the ball on the floor, so what plays? The opportunities were there for the others to capitalize on the way KAT was defended but they couldn’t.

Posting up kat itself is kinda dumb. He is an elite 3 point shooter run some damn PnR with him. Free him up. Just running post ups is dumb.
