I'm just glad the Giants got a high-ranked QB, for awhile a lot of people were saying they were going forward with Wilson, Winston etc which was crazy.

thats what I don't get, they were willing to give up a 1st round pick next year to draft a black QB...clearly Daboll wanted Dart since they couldn't get Cam Ward.

Blame the colts game for the people that wanted Cam Ward.

It is what it is...they better be right about the QB selection. At least I got my guy Carter who was favorite prospect.

For all we know that story was planted this late. Funny how all of sudden it the giants got aggressive for a black qb on the last day before the draft.

Titans made it clear from months ago they were selecting Ward.

They stopped all workouts etc. they made it loud they were selecting ward.

Yall fall for anything.

Yall ran to a tweet proves that point why it was planted.

And what also kills the BS rumor that report was true about Ward was the Son already announced Jaxson Dart.

Dart was the pick. Miss me with that Ward **** that came out at the last minute.

That was planted late.

They tried to trade up for Jayden Daniels. They signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to play QB.

Literally every team in the league passed on Shedur in the first round.

I don't think Dart is better than SS but it seems like NFL decision makers do.

If you want to say they are all racist, fine, but I don't see the case for the Giants being uniquely racist for not drafting a QB with physical limitations.

Joe Schoen is about as cartoonishly white as any man in sports this side of Brad Stevens. And old man Mara with his pleated khakis sure doesn’t appear like he’d want his country club voting record to go public — but that said, Jerry Reese did spend a decade in charge winning 2 SBs, so I’ll go ahead and give the benefit of the doubt here to the likelihood that the Giants didn’t draft Sanders for the same reasons as the 30 other teams.

Could just be the kid isn’t as good as his dad makes him out to be. Then again, could be racism. If so, I hope SS proves them wrong. Probably a good thing for the son of Deion to be humbled a bit and play with a chip.

As far as Dart…. I’m not optimistic he’ll ever see a minute behind the two (black) QBs ahead of him. Nothing would make me happier than Jameis leading this team to a surprise SB.

daboll said he wanted daniels and schoens son tried to get him to trade up for daniels but i don't think the giants ever made a serious offer to trade up for daniels is confirmed.

iirc, they wanted to trade up with the patriots to 3 to take drake maye

i remember when we discussed this last year and when i asked how many more white QBs or white coaches in a row would it take to no longer be suspicious and they couldn't even give me an answer. that's all i need to know.
