Is he? I could see him developing into an average backup. He’s going to have to check his ego if he wants to be successful in the NFL. He’s just not the level of athlete his dad was.

I mean it’s not all that surprising. Listening to guys like McShay, Breer, Pelissero and others all throughout the draft process. All those guys made it pretty clear that a lot of franchises that were looking for QBs weren’t all that impressed with Sanders. That’s why Dart to NY was a well known thing, it was well known that it shouldn’t be a shock if Shough passed him up.

This is a very weak QB class and Sanders isn’t a standout at all in this group. Take away his last name, he would most likely be viewed as a 2nd-4th round QB in this draft. Add on the curves that you get with Sanders and many reports of front offices saying he had some of the worst interviews they’ve been in. Not surprised they aren’t drafting a guy that they don’t think is a franchise guy who they also probably don’t want the circus for their backup QB.

My guess is Milroe goes ahead of Sanders. Wont be shocked if Ewers or Howard goes ahead of him as well. Milroe and Ewers have the far better physical tools. Howard fits being the solid backup role better

I’m not going to lie, after a couple years ago when that video of Landon Jackson hitting pads went viral. I never thought that guy had a chance to be drafted in the NFL.
