Gordon at PF was inspired. And I give them credit for it. He's an excellent fit for Jokic but everything else is trash.

Contra what people say on this board Murray isn't anything special. MPJ's contract is horrific. The bench is full of scrubs. And their owner is cheap as hell.

I give Gordon credit and the team. That was a real championship trade. And he’s been very good at his role. Braun is not too bad either, but he should be coming off the bench. Everyone else can go.

Clipper should win this. Nuggets aren't really doing anything different. Clippers are just bricking everything and playing like trash. Kawhi been bad and Harden has been a ghost. They should probably try feeding Powell.

Jokic needs to be more aggressive for his own offense. It's better for him to shoot over 3 guys then passing out to anyone not named Gordon.

Zubac is a really good player

I love Zubac as a player. I like watching big men and he's one of my favorite in the league. Screens, rolls, the little hook, always battling for boards.

One thing that impresses me with his rebounding is how he positions himself to tip balls. Most players seem to tip by accident when they can't quite get there, but when he's matched up against Jokic in a disadvantaged position will turn his body in a way that would make him less able to grab the board, but let's him reach out better over the guy boxing him to get a tip to a teammate. He does the small stuff that is so impactful.

I think a terrible part of this is that I don't know how the Nuggets get out of Murray + MPJ. As a consequence of the Jokic effect on a team, most FO in the league knows these guys are better on the Nuggets than anywhere else.

I wouldn't call it rebuild. Main thing is just getting off of Murray's and MPJ's contracts and spreading that money around for players that can defend.
