There’s 2-3 of them left. Too many good options still.

That pairing of Paul and Battier was 3rd on my list.

I dont need to save FGA because I have Bowen at <6 fga

I truthfully have so many options, it seems, that I am just not sure where to go...

Told you guys, I knew 00s to now was better for the west. West is just too deep. I think it could've worked even with 12 guys

I would have been okay with either option.

If I did my research, I would have taken another pair first round... But I don't hate what I have. I see some avenues that look appealing.

I don't have any issues with the current pool.

Didn't think Chauncey/Batum would go so early given what's still on the board.

There's a couple of elite P/R guys who I would have loved to see paired with an AD/Wemby front court.

This pool is deep enough that there definitely is some creative freedom here though. Could work out for iamgine.

The last 3 picks have not gone anything like I thought they would go.

To be clear, I'm a little salty because I was hoping that pair would drop to ME.

So that's part of the motivation behind that post.

I do think Wemby/AD with the point guard I'm sure will be selected soon would have been scary good.

Like what GM has so far. Malone works well with a classic P/R point guard but he also has great passing skills and benefits from Steph's gravity.

SGA dropping is wild.

I almost went SGA...but opted to find a wing scorer next round as opposed to trying to find a floorspacing power forward.

Fit was key for me on that round and I think that scoring on the wind is easier

Only worry I have is that in this pool 2 MVPs might be the minimum.

It’s likely you’ll get a scorer but youve likely lost the chance to get a second MVP.

Could be wrong of course.

I was set to go Kobe/Duncan. I pivoted to George because there were not a lot of top tier two-way wings. Might have been too conservative.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I had my eye on that pairing if I didn't get an MVP big.

With Duncan already in place, I think your choice was justifiable. There are still plenty of elite lead creators on the board.

I too would have preferred Duncan to Hakeem. But I knew I'd get one of them so taking Kobe first made sense.

I think Stockton Allen is a very strong pair, but I hope it'll be enough to compete in this deep pool.

Was really going back and forth between the safer route and the more dangerous path, and opted for the former.

Let's see how this evolves.

Maybe...maybe.

But if I get the right 5th starter I think I am set even without a 2nd mvp. Imo.

And I should be able to get a stud player.. just probably not an "mvp"

Felt like a mobile, defensive PF was key for the team.

Might be time to consider some unconventional builds that don't make use of point guards.

Yikes. Figured I'd be okay until Porter and Kidd were paired.
