I’m glad I logged in and saw you said this…this is the only game that I felt we were in control and felt a win coming. The refs did this. Went into the 2nd half with 2 Paolo fouls and less than 3 minutes into he has 5?! bull. I hate putting it on refs, but this was Boston being gifted a win at home because of who they are. And their fans are insufferable. I wanted to be a good sport with them but I just can’t. Angry Massachusetts people are just not my cup of tea and I live in south Florida and have to deal with it quite a bit. If they love home so much why don’t they just move back ya know? Anyways, I hope this offseason is the one that gets us back into some major limelight. I want to see the Magic being the team to be giving beat downs in the playoffs again! Frustrating season boys. But I feel something really good and well deserved for all of us coming. I hope that feeling is right.

The refs aren't out there shooting 16 % from three, taking 30 of them, and refusing to attempt anything that resembles an actual NBA offense.

This isn't a serious franchise, our coaching staff proves it. To allow this kind of nonsense endlessly, with virtually zero success, and try to sell to the fan base that they're serious about winning is laughable. We played to our greatest weakness THE ENTIRE SEASON, up until the very end.

We got what we deserved, it's that simple.

The shooting has been atrocious but the Magic were in this game until the refs took Paolo out. Then understandably we fell apart with him out.

They already took lead before and one foul.

Celtics were 0-9 for 3 with a lead. Most of us who watched Celtics often could see this coming from mile away
They are elite offense, at some point at home they will start raining them.
With or without Paolo.

Officiating has been a joke for both sides whole playoffs.

There is no conspiracy, if you are star with 4 fouls, teams will attack you, we do it to Porzingis every damn game. It's smart to do

whats funny is the refs have been trying to get Paolo in foul trouble every game

they would call a quick 2 soft fouls on him in the 1st q every game

they finally got him

Watching this season makes the FO resigning JI to that insane contract even more ridiculous (27m per for a backup with an injury list a mile long...wtf??)

I didn't understand it then, don't understand it now. So depressing that our 2 biggest contracts right now are KCP and JI, 2 guys who wouldn't even in the rotation if not for their contracts

I'd then look into trading Paolo, AB, and picks for Giannis. I'm tired of losing. Everything should be on the table.

You've peaked my interest. Giannis is amazing and could be available. We'd need to drastically acquire shooters though. Although, we need to do that either way

We weren’t going to win the game but it would have been a fight to the end. That ended when refs decided to get themselves involved.

That's... literally not his contract. It's a lot this year and then MLE for the final 4 years.

It would be a fine contract if he had DPOY level defense as last year and shot decently like last year.

His defense was fine, but not dominant, and his shooting fell off a cliff.
