Reminded me of that annoying ‘08 Hawks series - went 7 games and the scoring margin still made this list!

Tatum became the 5th Celtic to score 35+ pts and record 10+ assists in a playoff game in the last 60 years. He's the first to do it with under 20 FGAs.

Not voluntarily, but the Celtics took only 40% of their field goal attempts from 3 (way down from their RS mark of 53.6%).

They had a higher true shooting percentage in this series (59.5%) than the regular season (59.1%). C's just demonstrated that they can win (convincingly at that) even without the three-ball.

You guys can now retire the "live by the three, die by the three" criticism of this team.

The funny thing was Jaylen adjusted because Paolo and Franz were getting the touch fouls on the other end. Jaylen gave them that right back.

Series to forget for KP. 2 Oke games and 3 bad ones
Overthinks everything on O for no damn reason.Been great for years with post up play and on switches. This series thinks too much and forgets how to do does things that had been working for him.

Joe realized KP was not good, so he gave Luke more playing time in this game.

That's one of the adjustments Joe made.

Another narrative put to bed is the Cs will not win in the playoffs if they shoot 50 3s per game.

I said all season long that no way a team will be able to attempt 50 3s in the playoffs.

The game slows down and the defensive intensity will rise.

Glad to be done with this series. Was good practice in grinding out wins without the 3 ball flying.

Bingo!

This series made the Cs better handling physicality.

Good preparation in case they face OKC.

I liked Mazzulla's adjustement of having the Celtics shoot 13/18 from three in second half. Masterful coaching.

I thought Mazzulla turning over the ball just two times in the 2nd half compared to nine in the 1st half was a brilliant coaching adjustment too.

Remember when Pritchard used to get pulled off the floor because he was a defensive liability? Banchero and Wagner were a combined 3-11 while being defended by him.

Bobby Manning:

Here were the final matchup numbers for Pritchard in the series. He held Banchero to 2/8 FG, doing heavy lifting there without Holiday: "I probably figured they would (target me), but where I’m at my best is ball pressure...if I play them into my game, then I have the advantage."

Does anybody know why the Miami Heat played the second half instead of the Magic?

I voted Kornet. Porzingis was terrible again but we desperately needed size. Luke looked bad at first but he got comfortable. Then we were fine in the boards, moving the ball, etc.

Kornet was bad most of the series except for last night he was solid.....Queta looked ready to go, not sure why Joe doesn't trust him enough? KP was in his head all series, def the worst we've seen of him since joining the C's. Hopefully he turns it around next series as we need a Ctr to step up besides Big Man AL!

Queta's time will come.

And yeah, KP needs to be better.

I think the physicality really affected KP.

Joe gave Sam and Luke the benefit of the doubt.

That's why both players finally had a good game.

Looks like trust in his players is Joe's way of "ride or die".

I am so glad this one is over. I absolutely hate playing the Magic. They matchup fairly well and give Boston absolute fits. Now, let's kick some Knick/Pistol ass!

Luke will be important if we play the Knicks. It's Tatum-Luke PNRs that will open up the floor and get us mismatches.

Don't know if anybody mentioned this but JT was 37 for 37 from the stripe after going 0 for 4 game 1.

He was shooting his lowest FT% this season at 81%, so for him to not miss 1 these last 3 games is crazy.
