Looks like we moved the wrong backup center at the deadline. Noooooo

Would not have expected it, but he'd be more useful to us right now than Mitch has been

That could change possibly if Mitch plays better, but this last game he was truly awful

The previous versions of Mitch would be more valuable to us than Sims, but that Mitch is not with us presently

I honestly wonder if he is in full game condition let alone playoff game condition. Like the instincts or there but he is a bit slow in reaction.

Mitch was running full court a few games ago without breathing heavy. He's been conditioning for a year and playing actual games for close to two months even if only off the bench. He is trimmer and probably as healthy as he's going to be.

It could be his injuries caught up to him and he lacks the mobility and quicker reflexes to move his feet and plant them hard.

Whatever it is, he is getting outboxed badly and he is rarely in position to get the board. Most of his highlight plays were due to the ball bouncing his way more often than his positioning.

He looks very checked out in this series. I don't think it is all about his physical status. He is showing no ambition out there.

Things change. Maybe he'll improve. But he isn't helping us that much right now.

This truly was the FULL Randle experience tonight. Here he is, coming out guns blazing to the tune of 21 points on 7-11 FG in the 1st Half. FF to Q3/Q4 and he finishes the game going 2-11 FG including fouling Luka from 3PT at a critical juncture + bricking every big shot that mattered. Nobody can ever take away the fact that he’s a 2x ALL NBA player, much like nobody will ever take away Thibs 2x COTY. Having said that, from a strategic and basketball purist standpoint, their pairing was as flawed a relationship as you can possibly have. We’re talking crater sized weaknesses smothered in napalm. On a human level I’m actually very happy for the guy and hope he continues to stay healthy because that injury he had was nasty and came at an unfortunate time. Flying under the radar is DDV shooting 32% FG & 20% 3PT splits while having scored 31 total series points on 37 FGA.

Wait, so he basically had a performance similar to Mikal Bridges in Game 2, and he's being celebrated? Lol

Randle doing well. DDV coming around. KAT doing well. T-Wolves about to knock off my Western nemesis. Knicks about to get some rest before the Orlando series (...). I'm eating good.

In a series with Luka, LeBron & Ant, Julius has been the 2nd best player in the series. Glad he got the playoff choke rep off his back

Randle and Ant took out Lebron and Luka and the Knicks are struggling with Detroit.

meLo being a thibs defender all season as a proxy war for Randle only for Randle to do great in the playoffs away from thibs and now thibs haters using Randle as a proxy war to trash thibs is so on brand for this place.

TOXIC AS HELL.

lakers defense is absolutely dreadful. so the comp isn't really fair. would randle be bullying the pistons the same way he did Luka and Reeves (no idea why they guarded him with their worst guys)?

randle's defense was impressive and he made a high clip of open 3s. outside of that he played like he always has.

This is why I was advocating for Goga/Sharpe last summer. Both 2 way centers that can operate in pinch post sets so losing iHart wouldn't hurt as bad. That would have brought back a proxy of last year's team and hopefully the next time Randle stays healthy.

This group doesn't fit. It needs a new voice first and then we can evaluate from there.

The safe position was always "he always starts slow, check back midseason." But who wants safe when you can go nuclear.

FWIW, I still think Sharpe would be a great get. Then we can move Mitch and bring Huk along.

Those don't look like LeBron, Tatum, Wilt and Kobe numbers to me. Wolves swept the first round last season, KAT averaged 19/10/3 on 53% and 53% from 3. Like the post said -

We're weighed down by Thibs, they have a good coach in Chris Finch 8-). sham lost so I'm happy, you'll lose soon enough as well.

You beat sham, congrats. I however am about to call in a noise complaint that the party is getting too loud. Interesting you waited so long to circle back to the Rick Ross picture.

Randle didn't do it as a Knick, none of it counts in my book 8-)
