Yeah....I started losing steam months ago. January/February took a lot out of me!! I'm so done with Thibs and, the fan side of me is having a hard time getting excited to see more terrible coaching.

I was loving things during the holidays and early January but, by the ASB and since then Thibs burned me out. I don't think he's the guy. Mark Jackson is the reference point.

totally get it, i've had my share of frustrations with various elements of this year's team as well. but at the end of the day this is new york vs boston playoff basketball how can i not lock tf in????

this part, raja. this part.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

We already had a top 5 record. But the rockets who were ahead of us lost in the first round, proving they were frauds. So we are now a top 4 team. But then it gets better, because Cleveland lost game 1 at home to the Pacers(who we had a better record than) and is down 0-1 showing that they were also frauds. So that means we’re top 3 and if we win tonight we move into top 2 status in the power rankings. Orange and blue skies, see you at the parade

Is not gonna get it done against Boston. I really hope Thibs knows this. If he pulls this BS again this series we are getting run off the court. Precious should be playing a lot in this series.

No matter what lineups Thibs does, we dont have the talent. God couldnt coach this team through this. You think Precious is an answer? Sure maybe he helps a guy get some rest for a few, but we just do not have the depth. Our bench sucks badly. Just hoping we can compete, and hopefully/desperately upgrade the bench next season.

After decades of dying together that loses it's edge. I'm getting off the ship to safety if we hit an iceberg.

I'm gonna give it a go though. I can't see not giving them one more chance as much as everything tells me this is a lost cause.

Maybe Thibs was playing 3D chess and not giving Boston any film to use. Yeah .. That's it!! He's a genius! Coach as bad as possible to get to the next opponent and surprise them!

This is nonsense. Thibs doesn't use the bench. That's the problem. Precious played very well for us as a starter last year when we needed him. The numbers suggest as much from what I remember. Acting like he isn't a good bench player is ridiculous. Payne/Shamet were in the finals together. We can't get any production out of them now? It's the coach, not the players. Don't get it twisted.

Wright also played solid basketball for us. No excuse why he can't get some bench minutes, especially when Deuce is struggling.

We are at an historic level low in bench minutes. Decades since we've seen anything like this. 20-30 minutes less per game than the next least used bench at one point. That's not because they suck either. It's because Thibs is a moron.

Bobby Krivitsky‬

MA native and Knicks legend Patrick Ewing just came over to greet Sam Cassell.

It sounds like a lot of people are trying to get tickets from Ewing, who told Cassell, “I’m home.”

Sean Grande:

The last time the Celtics and Knicks met in a 2nd round playoff game, there were six 3-pointers attempted.

By both teams.

Combined.

New York (0-3), Boston (2-3 - Bird, Wedman)

How long into the first quarter of tonight's Game One do we get to 6?

I'm as motivated as a Russian soldier who is an ex-con conscripted into a Wagner mercenary meat wave unit, being given a motivational speech about how those Ukranian drones are no big deal and there will be a big celebration and free vodka once we win the assault.

Yay.

Knicks shouldn't be riding and dying together. They should be fragging their leader Thibs and coaching themselves. He's only going to lead them into a series of horrible ambushes.

Time to pull the pin on the grenade, cook it off for 3 seconds and roll it under Thibs chair.

Never underestimate the "house money" advantage.....Celts are heavily favored and people are expecting us to lose...that kinda takes the pressure off of us, and we can play free:

No drop D and Josh let it fly.

Continue to defend the 3. Keep up the same physicality from round 1.

Continue to get Mikal and OG involved. Praying the bench comes to play.

Lfg Knicks all in.

Hart and KAT need to take 15 3's between the 2 of them.

They won't.

Precious had chances this year and quite frankly shat the bed. That's not on Thibs. However I do think he could use Shamet and Delon more.

McBride and Mitch are both coming off injuries and not in sync or in the case of McBride, probably still injured in some way.

This makes the Knicks sh*t bench more sh*t than usual.
