That's all on Joe. He keeps playing the same players. Craig can provider energy and so can Queta. Even if they only played 10 minutes a game.
We had an energy guy in Springer and saving money to the team was more important than repeating. Springer was a guy that could come in and play 8-10 minutes a game and change the entire game around. Instead we have to watch Jrue and Brown play at 70% because they are hurt.

Anyone who knows when to call a timeout will be a huge improvement over Joe. Jenkins, Malone, doesn't matter.

Knicks have one of the best closers in the game, if not the best. Our closers cannot even close an open door. We need blowout wins.

I don't know about Malone. All that conflict in Denver was concerning. Jenkins, sure. JVG, sure. Definitely someone who's not a first timer like Brad, Ime and Joe.

Anyone who doesn’t have a game plan of jacking 60 3’s a game would be fine. Sam cassell, jenkins and JVG would be fine.

Phew, Kendrick Perkins says the series is over that’s a good sign for us.

JT continues to give his haters fodder. What a shame. Every time he has a great stretch of play, you know complete catastrophe is right around the corner. 18 points on 29% shooting to go 0-2 at home against a heavy underdog is embarrassing beyond belief

THIS ^ is true and a "Celtic issue" is all on the coach. Practice fast, play fast, if Boston plays slow, call a timeout nd make them play faster. Sometime it is as easy as that.

But we don't have a bench.

Korny had dang near been our best big, not even that good, I understand not playing Queta. Not trying Craig at all with Sam OUT, Pritchard struggling, JB on one leg and meh, I have a problem with! No way do you not go to someone else on that bench! Always preaching next man up, but never play the next man up!

I have issues with some of the choices Joe has made, I never said he was perfect, I simply think he’s a good coach and I’m not going to change my mind on that. He needs to be better just like the players, though!

Our bench is essentially only Pritchard, he hasn’t been good, he was huge for us during the regular season. You can’t go from that, to what he’s giving now, and expect to be rolling along just fine.

Joe is on the sideline signing, basically begging them to speed up their play. Watched him countless times doing the sign, sometimes jumping up and down, emphasizing it. What is he supposed to do, go out there and do it himself? This slow down when we get a big lead and the end of games was happening well before Joe. My how people forget.

I hate to say this, but this all reminds me of the Kyrie-led meltdown against Milwaukee. Almost as if our guys got their championship and that was enough for them, they're satisfied and simply don't care enough to summon the will to fight back when pushed.

The only hope now is the Cs make their 3s and shoot around 37% from 3pt land.

We could get away with 30% and win, If we stop going 7 minutes of shooting 0% from everywhere! :nonono: :noway: :banghead:

Knicks fan since '68 coming in peace . . . the Celts may have the better team BUT . . . without Porzingas being able to play 30+ minutes they have ZERO post game. Yes, occasionally Brown can post up and score BUT . . . when was the last time someone on the Celts other than KP posted and got an assist. Point being that even when/if Brown posts up, he doesn't make any teammate better. Even if Celts get by the Knicks, they can't win without a legit post threat.

**** that and **** this. I want us to lose so Joe can get fired. Tatum is soft but maybe he needs a different coach whose not a bonehead like Joe to straighten him out. The Knicks are playing how i want the Celtics to play. They look hungrier and they play with a stronger will and determination. Knick in 4. Joe gets fired. Sam gets promoted to HC. LESSSSGOOOOOOOO

Whoever told Tatum to shoot more threes and forget about his midrange game needs to be shot. Now all he knows how to do is shoot threes and not much else. Definitely frustrating.

Oh, and I read somewhere that Joe's decision to do Hack-a-Robinson in the closing minutes was bad coaching, and I agree. Joe got baited by Thibs when Thibs kept Robinson in the game. The second the Celtics hit the penalty, Thibs yanked out Robinson and put Anounoby back in. The result - when Jrue fouled Brunson when the C's were up 90-89, instead of a side out for the Knicks Brunson shot 2 free throws. Game over.

Please don't shoot Brad Stevens. :(
