1 1/2 years?? A 35-year-old Kobe Bryant tore his achilles April 12th and returned in 8 months, on December 6th.

His reaction was all you needed to see, not to mention hands over his face getting wheelchaired off.

It'll take an MRI for sure but it's not good.

Why the hell would you trade Tatum at the lowest value of his life

Achilles ain't no career ender. Not even close.

The only dude to come back elite from it was KD.

Tatum may well but he also isn’t as long and shifty as KD.

It’s a serious as hell injury.

Season not over until it's over. Really does depend on Tatum. I don't understand how everyone becomes a specialist in orthopedics from one camera shot.

But +1 on Joe and KP gone.

Season is 100% over. Tatum was freaking getting wheeled off in a wheelchair crying. He knows he tore his Achilles.

Maybe so, but I need to hear it from the medical team, not wheelchair emotions. I certainly does not look good though.

Keeping him when this roster falls apart makes no sense.

Y'all will see.

This is all that matters.

It would be hilarious if we take the next 2 games though.

Mazzulla is already excited about playing 5 guys 48 minutes each

Freak injuries will always happen in sports but I’m glad Joe stuck with a 7 man rotation

Full year off for JT. Full reset, finances and roster. We got a title out of this group. Time to move on.

JB was terrible with the ball in the first half. Couldn’t shoot TO SAVE A LIFE! Lot of the turnovers was from doing too much on offense. Still had the best +/- of the starters. As bad as people think he is, a lot of it is just singling him out because of bias.

KP at least tried. He’s just not ready this season and the illness seems to be the culprit. He’s not giving much at all and what he has he’s given back on D (aside from a good block now and then). Best +/- of our best players.

White got cooked EVERY TIME someone went at him. Didn’t matter who. He made shots in the first half so it made folks intentionally blind.

Tatum wasn’t touched so it doesn’t look good, but I’m hoping for a miracle!! He was excellent!! Didn’t get enough help aside from white shooting missles in the first half. He gave it everything he had. Please PLEASE don’t be bad????!!!

Yeah, i told you, Pritchard can’t go from crucial in the regular season to nada in the playoffs. He did a lot of good against Orlando at times, but one good game, that we won, against Nyk. It’s not a coincidence that when he played well, we won.

You couldn’t beg for silence when jb played poorly, look at folk talking again blaming him for jt’s injury. Like I said the silence was LOUD when a guy was bbq chicken on D. We’re the cult though. :smh:

Reality is who knows if there was anyway to avoid Tatums injury.

Feel like he wasn’t playing crazy minutes but he has barely had a decent rest his entire career. Consistently deep in the playoffs.

Maybe it was only a matter of time.

Wasn’t like he had played crazy minutes tonight.

I wouldn’t judge it based off reactions, love Tatum but he has a history of embellishing.

Jaylen was damn brutal.

We would have been up 20 or more in the first half I think if he bothered to stop doing dumb ****.

He was constantly giving the Knicks life

Literally zero reason to bring Joe back. Zero.

Return to Boston Celtics
