What does Boston do next year? They likely were going to make some moves anyways but If Tatum is out for next year, pretty difficult to see ownership being above the 2nd apron for a team that can't win a championship.

Shot making talent is just so important in the playoffs.

Ingram has that type of special shot making ability that can shine in the Playoffs if he's able to put it together and most importantly stay healthy.

Masai and Bobby had the vision of Myles Turner| Pascal|OG|FVV |Scottie...had the Pacers not pulled the Turner trade off the table , hard to imagine us not competing for conference finals during those years with a Nurse still mentally present

That's an achilles...too bad for Bill Simmons and his Celtics.

I guess they tank next season for the #1 pick? Or do they first have to sacrifice their star to an LA team first to guarantee themselves the #1 pick?

Not to beat a dead horse but this is why I’m not sure why so many people are high on players like fvv. At some point your best players have to be able to make shots when the defenses tighten up. It’s why we struggled so much during the demar/lowry era and why we struggled in the bubble post kawhi. If siakam isn’t complete ass in the bubble, we probably go to the finals again that year even without kawhi.

The playoffs is all about if you have elite enough offense to beat good defense. Look at the pacers right now, and the warriors with curry. Obviously defense is important too, but the raptors don’t win the championship without kawhis monster playoff run.

People like FVV as a 4th/5th option and getting paid starter money not the max.

You got Warrior fans out there in the general board arguing that Draymond Green gets an unfair whistle and the McDaniels foul would definitely be a flagrant foul if it was Green.

Maybe I'm not nearly the homer from my home team that I thought I was because these guys are upping the standards.

Man curry injury came at a horrible time. Sucks for butler and the warriors. I don’t think they would’ve won it all but with curry anything is possible

warriors were likely going to lose this series with or without Curry. They just went 7 games with a worse team in Houston rockets. Houston simply did not have the on ball creation that Wolves have even if their defense is a little better at defending Curry. GSW were playing Quentin Post minutes that series. Curry been great but he is not that tier 1 superstar anymore. Still sucks for injuries to happen like this in post season.

Not sure I agree, they were competitive for a bit without him this series… I think if he gets hot they win this series…

Again I don’t think they get past okc though. Oh well. Okc pacers finals let’s go.

I mean I am not going say they had no chance cause anything is possible. I just think GSW were not that good vs Houston, they were outplayed that series. Biggest difference was one team had Steph and Jimmy on offense and the other had FVV/Sengun (Jalen Green was awful).

Ant and Randle are much better than those Houston guys in terms of shot creation which matters in playoffs.

Only positive I can take from this night is that the east is wide open for anyone next year. With Tatum injury now and the Cavs imploding. Raptors can compete next year. Honestly the east looks very bad right now. Even these playoffs don’t see the Knicks or pacers beating Denver or Okc in a finals matchup.
