Record franchise buy

BEFORE he got hurt, keeping both Tatum and Brown beyond this season is gonna be super expensive and if it doesn't result in a championship this year, they may have to be broken up, now he sustains a major injury that'll likely keep him out ALL of NEXT season

I think they will trade Brown for sure or maybe even Tatum (if a team is willing to trade for him and wait until 2026-27 season)

al is old, jrue is old, porzingis can't be relied on to stay healthy, no reason to trade brown

They may not have a choice though if noone wants to trade for Tatum, and because keeping both is gonna be super expensive

BEFORE he got hurt, we looked like we're gonna win this, and likely the series

That means a healthy Tatum + Brown were no longer their best card to win a championship but now he got hurt, it's even more pressing for them to deal one of them to address the salary cap issues and completely retool the roster

Our future looks bright 8-)

With Tatum’s injury (unfortunate), we have a window to win the chip right now and next year. I don’t respect the pacers at all. It’s really going to be who are we going to play in the finals.

funny to say but I think the game was won in the 1st half...the Celtics were making absolutely everything....we could have really be chasing +20 but they stay battling and withstood some pretty strong runs.

Then once the celtics came back down to earth (outside of Tatum) we were able to put an extended run ourselves.

We were playing with a purpose tonight...not as many long possessions with the shot clock running down. More forceful actions and better screens.

Love to see it.

We didn’t shoot great but much better than in game 3. I’ve been saying it that it starts with Brunson he just needed to be better and was he spectacular tonight. The others just needed to hit their shots and be more aggressive and they did. We finally got a complete game from everyone and we needed that. Hopefully the confidence carries over and we see more that throughout the rest of the playoffs

I said you had to be patient, don't expect to do it all right away, the team has a bright future. That is all still true but I tell you, to be where the Knicks are already, year one, with a ton of growing pains still to go!? This is nothing short of a triumph! Last year's quad was good but this team needs some respect; they are doing remarkable things.

Maybe our preseason trade will work out for both teams. So far, so good.

we were up 9 with 3 mins to go after that OG dunk. That game was decided before that injury and we took it.

You can feel bad for tatum but don't take anything away from the Knicks...they earned it.

We lost OG to a hammy

Josh's guts were almost spilling out by the end

Brunson was bandaged up like the Mummy

We're lucky to be relatively healthy so far. It is a big part of the game

Fans and BSPN. When we were down 4 starters by game 7 they acted like Indy beat a healthy team.

I think it’s a mistake to doubt the Pacers. Their bench is very good.
