We can extend Mikal and Mitch and use the tax payer MLE to really solidify this squad.

really good offensive strategy to use him this way, wouldn't you say?
really good! shouldn't have to wait for the 4th qtr to run those actions though. Brunson can play very effective off the ball at times especially when so much attention is on him.
I don't want to get ahead of myself so I will leave my strategy comments hopefully when we can close out BOS for our next series.

There is glory in ending a dominant team’s run or tenure at the top of the heap. Knicks have to embrace that angle and carry that torch.

And we were the terminator in the 2nd.
I knew we were saving a run. JB was just too quiet in the 2nd quarter but we kept it close enough. Very suspicious.
we took control of the game in the second quarter TBH. stopped the ship, then turned it around by the 3rd quarter. they were down bad the rest of the game. it was beautiful.
assagiolian act of will.

it's not lost on me that we ended their last good team... on their floor.
[slightly different circumstance as we were the 2 seed. but yet another one of those messed up low seeds we got, which tbf we've also been for others (cough, miami).]

The new owner isn't getting quite what he thought he was when he paid top dollar for the team. But it will work out in the long run.

I smell hate!!!
Dont forget about Brunson's hand being broken in GAME 2 not game 6 either.
Right. So how were we punked?

It also feels a bit like GS a few years back before Durant left. Everyone was saying they were going to run the league for years but then a loss + finances of a market value deal for Curry decided differently. Boston, similarly, is going to have to face the music that they're way, way over the tax.

Right. So how were we punked?
Lazy humans at their job. Always running their mouths when they dont "confirm" the facts before they speak.
I dont recall what our starting lineup was but we had No Randle for the entire play-offs. No OG for 5 of those games against Indy.
Josh Hart left game 6 in the 1st quarter. Mitch only played in ONE game vs Indy. So we only had Divo and IhartFOH.
Not to mention, no Bojan...
I would ignore anyone who says we got punked.

gang. my wife and i stood up and applauded the ending of that game 7. homegirl had tears in her eyes behind the heart and the fight. whole season, but even then. death be not proud.
and the narrative was knicks need to run it back and get that chip. zay didn't wanna roll. he can smoke one. we didn't fold.
praise be.

I was proud too! Very. If someone in real life said to my face we were punked. I would just asked do you know how many and which Knicks were injured? and depending on their answer- I would either look at that and go ok and walk away or simple say do some research and come back to me on how many Knick players couldnt even pay the game and get back to me. I dont have energy to waste trying to get a person to change their beliefs.
My thoughts are for creation not talking to fools

fortunately for us, mitch is under contract next season too. so we don't have to do anything hasty. would be nice for him to be a whole career knick.
KAT + mitch has just begun. KAT said in the postgame that they really haven't yet had the time to figure out how to play together and that the big-to-big passing will get better.
brunson keeps pointing out that we're improving as we go.
praise be.
