I like Fleming, Sorber, and Wolf. But I'd draw the line at trading future picks to get them. Those picks need to be used to trade for a proven player.

Trade the two 2nds to trade up into the last first? Sure, but no future firsts.

Agreed. We need a Derrick White or something on this team.

One id vj, tre, ace and Fleming would be as big and influx of talent as we've seen in along time. Out of those 3 Fleming in my opinion is worth it. He has top 10 talent but somehow is consistently mocked lower. Why in the world has Murray Boyels been ahead of him in every mock. Absolutely absurd.

There are a lot of teams that might look at where they stand in the league and how the CBA punishes teams that are way over the cap and decide to shake things up. The Celtics with Tatum out for a while might be one of those teams. I'd add the Grizzlies as well. I think they'd prefer to trade Morant, but I wouldn't be shocked if they moved Jaren Jackson if the right offer came along.

Scout the draft and try to get another good player, but this team definitely needs to be looking to add a proven player on top of that.

Johnson has looked great this combine. Hes neck and neck with Edgecombe for me now. Coin flip on them. Ace has been underwhelming in my opinion across the board.

My top five is looking like

Flagg
Harper
Edgecombe
Johnson
Fears.

Id have a hard time picking Ace over Fleming which means we will end up Ace.

i think this is my position as well, I prefer Edgecombe for the defense because I want Miller and Ball to do most of the shooting but Tre is only a whisker behind. Miller, Ball, Johnson just isn't a good defensive trio which you need.

Tre Johnson might turn out to be a better scorer than Miller.

The thing I like most about him is he brings another shot creator to the offense. Would be nice to have another guy who can get his own shot. Definitely fits our 3pt happy system. Would not be shocked if he's the pick either.

His combine was really good. Hes a better shooter then Kon and doesn't need to dodge athletic testing, which in my opinion is what happened. Lets face it he was going to be underwhelming in every test minus shooting.

Fleming was a junior who played in the A10 vs the likes of Fordham and St. Bonaventure. Watch his highlights and see if you see any opponent over 6’9. It’s like starring in the G League. And his team didn’t even make the tournament.

Predicting what we do would be much easier if we knew the true status and future of our 3 malingering bros in Melo, Miller, and Mark.

Are we gonna tough it out with them and try to build a winner next season? Is Brandon gonna recover alright from the hand thing? Is Mark on his way out still? Hell, is Melo? Are we about to ship Melo and Mark out and do an even more disgusting tank for AJ/Booker?
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Such a weird comment by nurse to make so early in the process. Not sure if I'm actually believing that the Sixers front office has already narrowed it down to whoever is left at 3 from the Rutgers duo, even before they bring players in for interviews and workouts.

Heck by the time he’s done with workouts he may become one of the super risers of the draft. His shuttle run was crazy good. His shooting looked good.

BTW, Knipples did not participate. His camp said he has an injury from a few weeks back so unable to go.

His shooting was actually pretty poor, but I agree the measurements and athletic testing was positive.

Didn’t see his complete shooting stats…he was good in the spot shooting from 3. Fleming was listed on several sites as someone who really helped their draft stock from his combine performance.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

If the draft order goes Flagg - Harper - Edgecombe what do we do?

Do we take Bailey or Johnson? Or someone else?

Or do we take a risk and give up assets to trade up for Harper or Edgecombe?

If the Spurs aren't trading for Giannis I think they could be tempted to trade back if the deal is rich enough.

Regardless these are the scenarios Peterson and his staff need to be prepared for.

Nurse dropping an early smokescreen
Yeah that was my thinking as well. I mean let's face it head coaches on teams that are under championship expectations probably aren't dying to add a rookie into the mix. I'm sure nurse selfishly would much rather the Sixers trade that pick for an established veteran who can help them immediately. That window with embiid george particularly is closing fast.
