Nope. A healthy Ball might cause us to finish with a 6th or 7th worst record and we know Silver will do anything in his power to help the Knicks. We need to finish at worst the 4th worst team next year to ensure that pick doesn't convey to the Knicks.

Yep, Knupes is a slam dunk for Utah.

Seems right now like there is a top 4 fairly set. After that Utah will have its pick of guys. Probably either Knu or Tre Johnson, right?
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

No. I’ve always thought Ball is fools gold. Too inefficient. Too injury prone. Not serious about winning.

I might consider betting on his talent as a reclamation project, but I’m sure as hell not giving up a lotto pick to acquire him.

I can't imagine that ainge would take Kon over Tre.

Kon measured 6'5 barefoot. With his limited athleticism that is a problem.

Hopefully ainge uses tankathon because kon chart is ridiculous Image

Watching these trench warfare playoffs, we need a Montrezl Harrell, a Kief Morris, something like that on the roster, even if it's a deep bench player :starwars

Yes, that’s the person you get in the second round

What does Wizards management prioritize in prospects? Answer: Defense.

Fears had the 3rd fastest sprint time at the combine, a Fears/Sorber draft would make me very happy

Look at some of the valuable long 3&D players in the playoffs:

OG
Bridges
McDaniels
Gordon

i see Carter Bryant as a guy who could be in that mix just based on what he's shown so far. There may be more to his game than he's been able to show, which is true of a lot of players.

They won't draft fears for the same reason they didn't draft Sheppard: too small.

This why I think Fears is the guy... Consiglierie you need to relax.... Trading out of a draft that has about 40 good prospects makes no sense whatsoever....

Fears has an elite skill, which is getting to the rim, and that is a very good skill to have for our team.... Even if he turned into Monte Ellis, that would definitely be a foolish pick to not use..... Fears is underrated because he needs to improve his jumper which has good form, and he's lightweight, 2 easily fixable issues..... Honestly think Fears could be Gil-like......

Which is just dumb considering what Jalen Brunson is doing this year.

Fears is fearless. He's what Carrington isn't...that is he attacks the paint. Love those type of guards.

Fears is comparable in size with Bub, he is 18 and still growing, I would be surprised if we take him though.

4 stocks per 40 definitely has my attention. His standing reach is only a half inch less than Flagg.

Not deaf. Grandchild of Deaf Adults. Meaning he was raised fluent in sign language. Culturally Deaf. It's a thing in the Deaf community if you were raised understanding the lingo and values vs if you came to it late. HIs grandfather is in the Deaf Basketball Players HOF. Never knew there was such a thing.

I like him at 18, or even higher if we are moving around in trade, but I think he's not one of our targets at 6.

I watched a lot of Arizona this year, and the fact of the matter is Bryant didn't put up bigger numbers because he didn't play a lot. He was a freshman on a team with a lot of older established players, and a coach that wasn't concerned with developing a freshman. He came off the bench, and accepted his role and fit in and contributed to a tournament team. When he did play, his game was team oriented and complimentary, focused on defense.
His teammates like Luis and Love, were more focused on their own scoring, very ISO heavy, there was not a lot of ball movement going to Carter. But he stepped up in his opportunities.

High School he was a 5 star recruit and McDonald's All-American.

As far as his production... I would compare it to a teenage Euro prospect that is playing behind older players and not getting a lot of PT. For example, look at Bilal Coulibaly. His season playing for Paris before being drafted....

MPG - 18.1 PTS - 5.0 REB - 3.1 ASSTS - 0.8 STL - 0.8 BLK - 0.2

And Bryant at Arizona...

MPG - 19.3 PTS - 6.5 REB - 4.1 ASSTS - 1.0 STL - 0.9 BLK - 1.0

Heres some Carter in H.S.

Brunson weighed 198 at the combine.

They have said they value size for the position. It's their criteria not mine.
