Don’t care about the source but won’t be shocked when we show interest in Jrue. Hes a “Heat guy” and outside of Bam and Mitchell we don’t have too many of those anymore.

Haven’t watched a ton of him this season but when I have he looked washed

Better off rolling with Mitch n Dru (if healthy)

Ware 7’1
Bam 6’9
Durant 6’10

That’s going to be one helluva big trio

Bam to Spurs for 2 and 14.

Stay tuned.

That’s Giannis package

I think majority of it is a massive decrease in role but he may be washed as well, who knows. I would prefer to not rely on the Dru smiths of the world

I could definitely see him ending up on the Bulls via S&T for Vucevic. No way possible I see him ending up here. The teams in S&T's don't usually get much other then a matching contract and a 2nd rd pick. The Nets could just sign him out right.

Kuminga for Wiggins S&T - who says no? Assuming the contracts are close enough that it doesn't require any other major pieces.

Itll be kyle Lowry all over again. No thanks.
Jrue is good but hes not a generational talent like durant. People have already mentioned how he's 34 going 35, and makes 3-100+. He was invisible for several of these Knicks games. Keep him away from this team please.

I liked him a lot, but he's definitely washed atp. There's a reason he contemplated retirement before being traded to Celtics and got some renewed energy. Durant at least got some juice left if we can get him cheap

Add a first round pick, I'll think about it.

There's plenty of unproven, inconsistent young talents in this league and he's about to ask for a bag.
But I think Warriors have a decent probability to fall hard next season if one or more of the big three old guys miss a significant time. Because the West is stacked again next season. That pick would be valuable.

Yup there’s no need to force Holliday and that contract.

Pat will definitely go after Jrue and likely Horford again as well to see if the teammates want to stick together if Horford doesn’t retire. He’s always liked those guys and Horford would be a solid backup vet to Bam and Ware. We need to look at Brook Lopez there as well. Size that can stretch the floor and defend

Common sense and well reality tell us we need a full rebuild but our front office won’t do that. KD even at his age would be the best player on this team with only Bam ahead of him. Odds are in two year KD will still be better than Herro or anyone not named Bam on the roster. Unfortunately the Suns won’t take our trash, our rejects for KD.

I don’t see the incentive of going after Jrue with 3 years left on deal and a heavy payday at the end of it. We won’t be able to field a bench if we bring in Durant. We need to go cheap at the PG spot. That means resign Mitchell, sign a minimum vet, and hopefully draft a young prospect to develop behind him. If we strike out on Durant it still makes zero sense to go after Jrue. Celtics will be laughing at us for bailing them out.

Not so fast my friend about the Suns not taking our rejects. Remember KD has a 54.7 million dollar contract that needs to be matched and is also an up coming 37 year old soon to be free agent that wants to be paid a max for the next two years.

Very much like Butler the market is going to be suppressed. I have outlined numerous options that get the Suns expiring contracts and the potential to get out of the tax with Duncan’s contract. At tops they should be thrilled with getting a couple of young players out of this in Jovic and JJJ.

Remember what our haul was for Butler? Wiggins, Anderson, and i believe was a top 12 protected pick that became 20th. Now we did get a good amount of tax salary relief in the deal that saved Arison close to 20 plus mil in taxes and almost got us completely out of it until Raptors backed out of taking Anderson and instead took on Tucker for Mitchell while us giving them a 2nd rd pick.

Rozier, Duncan, JJJ and Jovic honestly even without throwing in a pick looks a lot better than Wiggins, Anderson, top 12 protected. Suns are getting Rozier’s expiring and maybe they try and rehab him along side Booker. We got saddled with Wiggins extra year at 30 million.

Duncan gets them out of the tax after the owner spent a record amount in taxes last year and they also will be in the repeater next year if they don’t get out of it. JJJ gives them a young option at the 3 and Jovic gives them a young 4 they don’t have. At tops right now i would swap the 20th for 29th with them this year. Considering the financial flexibility that’s coming along with this deal.
