Can't underestimate the suffocating defense of OKC.

Denver’s zone causing OKC problems. Thunder need to find their 3-point shot.

i value experience in the playoffs though and they have it. they also have the best player in any series they're in.

okc has some young guys they need to rely on who are still question marks.

i think denver will win today anyway for those same reasons

matchup wise OKC is way tougher matchup for us. They play ihart and chet and will just put Chet on Hart and have him just sit in the paint all series.

Jokic is the best player and I think they can win today as well. But we match up really well vs Denver. Especially with Gordon who really can't move out there.

and if we go big our double big lineup is way stronger than theirs.

we dominated DEN in the regular season and we didn't even have Mitch to throw on Jokic.

Gordon gutting it out … Hi Mobley

Wouldn’t want to be in a G7 against Jokic

Also seems like Thibs has got a good scheme for Jokic the last few seasons, so while I don’t underestimate them I think that would be the favorable matchup from that standpoint as well.

Not trying to say I didn’t like Hartenstein a lot and hate on Mitch — I was wrong — but I’d be happy to see iHart terminated, not a bone in my body roots for a guy who left the Knicks lol

you think Thibs is really going to replace Hart in the starting lineup?

Thinking about how we can use KAT...DEN and Minny are much more favorable in terms of getting the most effective KAT. OKC can throw a lot of long guys on him and then put Chet rim protection near the rim.

Also Gordon isn't going to be healthy for the playoffs...maybe he survives this game 7 but they are basically going to be without him for the rest of the playoffs.

true, BOS also didn't have a healthy effective KP all series. So lets not get too ahead of ourselves. We played a really good series but we took advantage of what BOS didn't have as well.

he doesn't necessarily have to. he just has to play them together more.

He has...DEN isn't a great 3 pt shooting team outside of MPJ and he has a banged up shoulder. And Murray obviously.

KAT actually does an ok job on Jokic. And Jokic really can't defend anyone on our roster. They don't put him on Hart because he is to fast for him...and he has to guard KAT who brings him out shooting.

Also we run a lot of Brunson P&R and Jokic isn't the best P&R defender.

Yes they dominated us but you couldn’t say any of the games besides game 6 weren’t winnable games for them, because they matchup well with us similar reason we would have a chance in a possible Denver matchup. Doesn’t automatically mean we win that series, but I rather play the team we’ve seen repeated success against.

Denver is keeping the Thunder in the game. They should be up by at least 20.

People say SGA is a foul merchant but is he worse than Jokic?

Regardless there is no way you would rather play OKC over DEN...especially with Denvers injuries.

OKC is the better defensive team and has way more size that can bother us.

Yes they have more playoff experience and Jokic is a beast. But its not even close if you ask me.

I hate okc and want to see them fail and I catch myself kinda rooting for em cause I dont really wanna deal with jokic.

yeah, i think it's just conventional wisdom that okc is the best team because of the regular season. but depth is not as important as your top players in the playoffs. and that guy in denver is a monster.

Yeah, having the best top end talent matters a lot more than having a nice bench. Im a lot more worried about jokic than these young players and depth on okc. He is a killer.
