yeah, i think it's just conventional wisdom that okc is the best team because of the regular season. but depth is not as important as your top players in the playoffs. and that guy in denver is a monster.

Yeah, having the best top end talent matters a lot more than having a nice bench. Im a lot more worried about jokic than these young players and depth on okc. He is a killer.

there's steps to winning in the playoffs and you don't get to skip them. okc is still too young to win a championship. without looking i would bet that no team with their average age has won one in the last 50 years.

I never said he doesn't embellish calls though. I stan Brunson as well and he sells calls too. Its part of drawing fouls unfortunetly. Its why Melo never got love from the refs because he didn't "sell" contact. You can say that was endearing to Melo's game but it wasn't ideal to help try and win.

Jokic game is far less dependent on drawing contact than SGA though. I don't see how that can be argued.

agreed but that is my biggest concern. Boston did it with smaller less imposing shot blockers than Chet.
