The few times I've watched the Thunder I end up wondering what all the fuss is over Holmgren.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

MPJ deserves a pass. He's playing with one arm. They have to play him because even a one-armed MPJ is better than playing Watson.

And Gordon isn't nearly himself. Not saying they would have won, but let's remember, win or lose, they took the Thunder to seven.

The Nuggets taking the Thunder to a game 7, considering the circumstances surrounding the franchise since the last week of the regular season is a win. I'd give them an A+ for their performance this playoffs. So many exciting games they've played (14 in total). Now your starting forwards are both injured and yet, neither has sat out a game. I have nothing but respect and admiration for this team not packing it in against the Clippers.

Them not packing it in means their on court leadership is fine and they probably don't need to switch coaches. They absolutely however need a great GM. Like whoever who will be doing the moves this offseason needs to be screened like a Supreme Court Judge before a single transaction is made.

MPJ and Murray combined for 6 points

Jokic has made 2 more baskets than Murray.

And had 17 in the first half as he was getting hacked? While Murray had 4?

Oh ok

Take AG out, risking his health when you're 20 down is absurd.

It’s tragic how badly Denver has wasted Nikola Jokić’s prime.

MPJ may as well be wearing an OKC uniform at this point. He's arguably been OKC's best player.

I'm curious what can they realistically do to improve the team?

Guys like Murray and MPJ just don't have a lot of value. Braun has developed into a pretty good player, but he doesn't make a lot of money. It's hard to see a path for significant improvement with this roster.

Cutting WB would be a great start.

I’ve always been impressed by the calmness of coaches. How do you stay completely stoic after that Wallace dunk?

All the players going apecrap, the coaches totally unimpressed

Had Adelman not let Denver lose the 10 point lead by leaving in Wesrbrook and Strawther, this would be a different game. Dude does not deserve a coaching job. This was a fireable offense.

Jokic has to contest better than that. Soft.

Finding OKC highly unlikeable, hope Ant and Timberwolves make it to the Finals

Exciting to see a first time champ group always at least

That 3 pointer by Wallace should not count. That was ridiculous.

The announcers talking like the game it over. It's not, but not looking good for Denver.
