This is not last year’s Pacers team where they only beat us because of injuries. They’re legit good and mentally tough.

We reverted back to our very worst habits and instincts this game, and Indiana just wore them out and made them expend so much energy doing it.

They didn't play scared. Thibodeau taking out Deuce and Mitchell was the difference.

Reggie was actually digestible tonight.

it was good, then it wasn't, now i feel terrible, but remain hopeful, but still frustrated, and a touch excited.

pfft i was a teenager and trying to figure that one out. I think I had tests the next few days so I coulnd't even fcking be depressed. Just brooding the next few days.

I went out to shoot hoops in my yard with 30 seconds left. Put the Mets game on the radio and heard they lost over a 20/20 sports flash on the fan. I’ve never felt safe with a lead since.

Everyone sucked down the stretch but I can’t imagine how people still defend this clown of a coach. What a disgrace.

It's just one game, relax people.

Every mistake we could make down the stretch and every coaching blunder we could do we did. Like a dozen things had to go wrong for us in a row for that choke to happen and it did.

Great test of the Knicks mettle… if they can’t overcome this, then they weren’t going to beat OKC anyway.

Not if Thibodeau allows Jalen to over-dribble on every possession.

If only the over dribbling led to whole shot clocks getting used. He always takes the shot too soon.

I don’t know what the clock was but OG takes an early 3 even though he was missing most

Dumb

But putting JB back in was iffy and we all felt it at the time

Sure, both things can be true.

They still choked that lead. The players on the court should have gotten it done.

I thought that game 6 got them there. I'm pissed Strick not gonna lie!

I’m absolutely livid. Inexcusable loss and a loss that simply cannot happen for a team trying to compete. Execution by the players was terrible and Thibs was absolutely brain dead down the stretch as well

I hope they bounce back and bust their ass

Pacers in 5.

Thibs short rotation doesn’t work against the Pacers pace. We looked exhausted in the 2nd quarter.

The Pacers also scored at will and will continue to do so.

Finally, the Pacers have supreme confidence that they can win in any situation. They just did something that 994 teams before them haven’t and no other team in the NBA has ever done. Confidence is huge in a playoff series. It’s over.

Everybody relax, this was just game 1. Both teams showed their scoring capabilities. This might be a long series. Don’t be surprised if we are back at MSG for a game 7. Its going to be wild but we are here for it

I don't know who to blame...everyone.

Ultimately there were times your HC need to call a TO after a couple open 3's and say what are we doing here.

Nesmith didn't miss but those shots were all way too open.
