Oh what I'd give for a coach that understood the benefit of a timeout when you're getting shelled by threes and your lead is bleeding out.

Relies on hero ball. No kind of strategy or lineup deployment at all. No placing importance on defending the 3. Should I go on? How about calling something effective after timeouts or attempt anything different in pressure inbounds plays? Nah.

i can't defend anyone tonight. this is the single worst finish to a game I've maybe ever seen. you play until the final horn.

hold the ball and defend the three. even intentional foul if you have to.

thibs didn't miss 12 free throws though.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Two threes is great shooting, five is bad coaching.

This is what happens when you do your touchdown dance before you cross the goal line. Lmao.

Thibs did make a mess on him self subbing in his two worse defenders up 15 with a few minutes left.

There’s gonna be a whole lot more bitching during this Pacers series.

I’ve called for him to be fired at least 10018482 times since January.

Told you so.

Don Chaney could have done a better job coaching those last few minutes of the 4th than Thibs.

Is it possible to fire this idiot before game 2?

What in the f*cking hell was Mitch doing on the court during the Nesmith FTs? One point game, no time outs, under 30 seconds remaining, bonus, and you keep a 16% FT shooter on the court? What the actual F was that????

Thibs had so many chances to stop the bleeding in the 4th and refused to call a time out

I think Shamet is just too small. At 6'4 with a 6'7 wingspan, he really does not offer much positional versatility.

We need a big wing, but how do we get good one without giving up any of our top 7 guys?

I don’t care what anyone says
Thibs blew that game subbing Brunson in at the 5:00 minute mark when deuce and Mitch built the lead with og KAT and hart
The man is an effin moron
His defensive game plan needs to come back with three straight wins. Or four to cap it

This is what separates good coaches from championship

Well said. Blind loyalty to a point where it prevents winning basketball. Some players have an unlimited leash while others are afforded no mistakes. Thibs ain't it.
