Some of the shots pascal was hitting no one would stop, but Karl actually isn't bad at defending guys in space...as long as he doesn't get lost off the ball...it's protecting the rim and reading PNRs where he's a mess. And Mitch is phenomenal at both of those.

Pacers are excellent at identifying and attacking the weak spot. If Mitch can stay in front of P, which I doubt, Myles will attack KAT. If instead of double big they play McBride, he could get posted up.

You missed my point. Karl stops being a massive weak spot to attack once he's no longer asked to defend the rim & PNRs. KAT may still be the weakest part of our defense, but if you're banking on picking on him in space, then we should be in good shape to get back into this series.

Robinson was able to stay in front of Tatum; if you think Mitch can't defend in space just because he's great against PNRs & around the rim, then you're in for a surprise

I don't have strong feeling about the Knicks, but Towns has always been an NBA PF in my book. I think New York could be better next season with the right coach.

Double big does not work against the Pacers. Just not enough quickness there to defend well.

Why? Deuce is a better shooter & on-ball defender than Hart, but he won't improve our PNR defense or slow them down.

Eh. Thibs is a top 10 guy, if we can get a top 5 guy who fits the roster even better then cool. But if Spo isn't coming through that door, I'm fine with Thibs. The group loves him, he instills a seriousness that not all top teams have, he's great at adapting and excellent at developing players as well.

Give the double bigs a training camp together to gel; Thibs an 8th guy he trusts with real minutes; and our kids another offseason...McCullar in particularly looks like a player, but Kolek is a jumper away from being an impact sub, & Hukporti showed interesting tools + instincts...and I'll be pretty giddy; whether our run ends with indy or a parade.

Excited to see how Knicks respond after falling 0-2. They are a good team but the Pacers simply had their number late in games, will that change tonight?
