You know what I found really sad. The time Hart or Mikal (or someone) pitched it back to KAT at the top of the arc and he made an open 3. I thought to myself, that almost never happens. Where he gets to spot up and shoot a normal 3 at the line.

My three takeaways..

1. Running the offense through KAT just works. We seen it in game 1 and tonight in the 4th.

2. I'm **** sick of us letting TJ McConnell do whatever he wants.

3. We been saying that we have a bench. Thankfully we used it tonight.

The ones hinting that KAT only had that 20 pt fourth because JB was on the bench can take a hike. We have seen glimpses of beautiful basketball from both of them all season. Consistency has always been the issue. This team lacks an identity so they have nothing to fall back on which is why most nights look like a train wreck with players just aimlessly looking at each other. I think with more playing time they will get it together but it's ultimately up to the coaching staff to give this team their identity.

It's a known fact that Kat's touches go down significantly when he's playing with the JB. An issue that should be addressed and corrected. Especially when JB is off.

I said it in game one and bitched about it in game 2: we are better against Indy with Brunson on the bench - like it or not. We can't guard Indy with Brunson and Kat on the floor.

And we can't score at a high clip with Brunson iso'ing every play....AND Indy has the personnel to make it tough on Brunson but has NO ONE to guard KAT.

We were up 18 in game 1 with Brunson on the bench and we stormed back to win this one with him on the bench too. It's not theoretical now.

Deuce, Bridges, Hart, OG, KAT needs to be our main lineup

Maybe they're just not a good pairing and it's not Thibs. But you can trade Mikal for a playmaker/defender, someone who can feed KAT.
