To be fair, Hali and Fox can’t work together, at least not very effectively. You want Haliburton to have the ball and if you’re relegating Fox to off-ball, he’s not going to be utilized properly…then there are the defensive issues. One of them had to go, and no one wanted Fox at the time.

Haliburton is the offense. Like yeah, maybe he’d look more like Mavs’ Steve Nash than Suns’ Steve Nash without Carlisle to take advantage of him, but there’s no other player in the league that could do what Hali does.

Impressed with his composure and confidence. Some months back was a thread that his play or effect to the team is similar to that of a Steve Nash and i disagreed with it claiming Steve is just way smarter as a game manager and Haliburton is too inconsistent to be that— damn, i was dead wrong.

All props to Haliburton, who has shown that not only is he a leader like Nash, he also delivers in key moments like today’s Game 4.

Soooooo how many picks did the Knicks give up for Bridges?

I actually think they where in a great spot with Brunson/Towns and having role players like OG/Hart, and then bring in cost effective rookies to surround their core.

Penny played like a big PG. Haliburton plays a lot smaller than his actual size.

He is closer to Steve Nash than anyone IMO
