I think New Orleans would be open to trading the 2026 IND 1st, especially if it could help them get off a year or two of Murray's contract.

Orlando will definitely trade 16 or 25, will depend on what guard they get via trade to determine which pick goes.

Houston will definitely be interested in trading #10.

I would think that they are likely looking to get back multiple later picks, 2025 and future.

The Nets are actively looking to add another 2025 lottery pick and they have a surplus of picks, so that seems the most likely outcome for me (if the Nets strike out on moving up in the draft).

I would be very surprised if OKC doesn't keep a pick (we certainly are trading one of #15 or #24). We have some guys to pay and want decent players under rookie contract so we can manage to keep our core so the only solution is to keep drafting well.

Minny traded a ‘31 1st and ‘30 swap (top 1 protected) for #8 last year.

Recently #15 + #20 got the spurs to #10.

So, it would seem like OKC owes value beyond the picks moving, and that’s where Joe for Pat gets lumped in. Joe is a good player, but is also the 9th man and getting paid pretty well.

Okc will almost assuredly be a 2nd apron team in ‘27 if they plan to keep Dort and Hartenstein. Considering those are starters for them, I’d think they’d want to keep them. Getting off of Joe would keep them under that 2nd apron.

This all may be a year too early for them, though.

Ok. If Orlando is willing to give up a higher pick for a protected future 1st that is likely to be a bit later than what they’re giving up, Indy can’t negotiate with that. Indy would just be looking to clear their Stepien rules and would be the only team that could treat that protected pick as “unprotected” since they already own the protected region.

Dieng is gone IMO. Even if Presti overrates the guys he loves it makes no sense to keep developing him since he's gonna enter the last year of his rookie contract.

Dilon Jones might get moved but I think he will likely stay.

I would trade Isaiah Joe for a small improvement but I'm not sure Presti is gonna pull the trigger.

So yeah I would bet with one open roster spot with Dieng gone.

OKC gets a trade rolling but the team wants better then #15, The Bulls trade the expiring Vucevic to that team with #12 and drop down to #15, take back some young sort of disappointing kid with remaining potential and some young veteran that doesn't fit in anymore The rest is OKC getting a future pick from the other team
